Beautiful and built like tanks
I'm right handed and I wanted the tape measure holder on my left - this bag is excellent. I've had them for a couple months now. The pic is when they were brand new. Heavier than the nylons but these won't fray, they slide against your legs, they hold their shape over time, they're comfy, look beautiful, and smell amazing. I condition mine every now and again with Obenauf's leather preservative. Especially after the bags get wet. They break in pretty nicely too. The pockets will mold to what you carry. My 30' Fatmax fits well. Yes, they're expensive. You're buying very thick leather and a very dependable bag. I looked into all other alternatives. McRose, Diamondback, Buckaroo, Nailer's, Boulder Bag, Akribis Leather... I pulled the trigger on a set of full leather Occidentals and have not looked back at my decision with any regret whatsoever. I'm going into my second year with a framing company and these are going to serve me well for many more years to come. I love slapping on these bags in the morning. There's a real charm to all-leather.

Electrician beware
Great quality pouch, just don’t buy if you’re an electrician. I bought to try out but the pockets are basically just to big holes so you can’t really organize certain hardware.

Excellent quality no bags compare to occidental. If you're looking for the last bags u buy this is the brand. Thick, sturdy,and comfortable. I'm an older rough carpenter and comfort is key for lasting all day.

Fantastic Quality
Really nice tool bag and top notch quality. The pockets are large enough for all tools/fasteners. The leather is very rugged and stitching is well done. Could be a tool bag that lasts a very long time.

Best on the market!
Occidental is the best on the market for any type of construction products. I luv the speed square pocket and the tape holder is perfect. And yes it holds a 30’ FatMax perfectly lock side up. I’d buy it again one day but I won’t be around in 30 years.
