I always like to wait a while before I post a review. I'm very pleased with this light. It's small, lightweight and portable. You can adjust the angle of the lamp. If you want something super bright then it might not be what you need, but we use it as a bedside lamp as we don't have a plug socket nearby, and it's fine for reading in bed, and it also doubles up as a torch if we need to get up in the night. It's still using the same batteries that we put in when we got it, so it's quite economical.

When I saw "desk lamp" I thought great. Good price so bought it. What I should have done was check the size. It is quite small and although a bright light, it doesn't light up a large area. Useful as a torch though. Note to self: check dimensions before buying.

I use the D.A.Y Republic Desk Lamp Light for detailed Jewelry work at my bench. It definitely has the capacity to shine a light on my work. Recommended
