Solid professional laptop at a solid price from a solid vendor.
A very decent high-performance laptop for the price. Thin, light, elegant laptop with a beautiful display. Would rate this at 4.5 stars if I could. The battery life on this Zenbook is phenomenal compared to my previous ASUS laptops (8-9 hours of regular use). I would not let the absence of a 4K IPS (as offered by the Dell XPS and Lenovo Yoga) deter you from purchasing (it's a novelty, a battery hog, and you won't miss it). This is a touch screen and so the matte-finish is not an option but the screen glare is much reduced over my previous laptop which also featured a touch screen. Great contrast and superior color. Action on the keys are not quite as deep as I would like and take some getting used to. This is an excellent laptop for professionals and students. Despite the 1050 Ti, I would probably not recommend this as a gaming laptop, although it will run many modern games with modest graphics settings. The web cam was originally advertised as high-definition 1080p when I purchased, but it is just a sad VGA 480p camera typical of ASUS. The vendor promptly corrected this error when I inquired about it and I believe this to be an honest mistake. If video-conferencing is important to you in a laptop, look elsewhere. However, this would be an excellent component upgrade if Hi-D could offer it as it is truly the only "weakness" in this system's spec. My laptop arrived "ready-to-go" with minimal "pork" and updated drivers but did not have the latest edition of Windows 10 installed as I expected it would. It was a simple matter to upgrade but wish this would have been offered as part of the "burn-in" service. Laptop seems to run reasonably cool and quiet (CPU ~45C, GPU ~38C) although I have nothing to compare this too so I can't comment on the efficacy of the diamond thermal paste. Several reviews I read prior to purchase commented that this laptop runs its fans continuously. This has not been my experience at all so this is perhaps anecdotal evidence that the thermal paste is doing the deed. Vendor is communicative and very responsive. I would recommend and/or buy from Hi-D in the future. For the same price, buy from these folks and score yourself some peace of mind.

Been following this notebook since it was announced backed up with some great reviews compared to its peers. HIDevoltion offered the upgraded specs I was after and the rapid and excellent service they provided its been outstanding. Very pleased with the purchase and looking forward to putting the notebook through the grind.

Looks great, runs great.
Laptop arrived in perfect condition, and was extremely easy to set up. It runs great, and is perfect for my needs as the center of a portable video editing hub. The build quality is extremely nice, so it's a pleasure to open and use. HIDevolution have been great about contacting, answering any questions of mine quickly and clearly. Would recommend to another buyer looking for something versatile and still compact.
