So Comfortable
These jeans have just enough spandex to make them very comfortable to wear. The material is soft but durable. They are fairly tight and form fitting so if you would like looser jeans, you may need to order a size larger.

Five starts with a caveat.........
These pants are kinda weird, but I like them. The waist sits below the belly button and could almost be hip huggers. They are a little snug, but stretchy, so with time, I'm sure they will be great. The length is a bit long for me (5'4" weight: never mind-- but suffice to say size 14 fits me). The wide waist band is helpful in keeping them up, kinda tight through hips and legs till you get to the bottom. The color is great. Overall I would give them a 4.5

lots to love, especially for an apple shape, but still had to return
So let me start with saying what I loved about these jeans. First off they fit great! I am a true apple shape so often jeans that fit me in the rear and thighs are too tight in the waist or if they fit in the waist they are way too big in the rear and thighs. Often to fit my rear and thighs I wear a size 10 but to fit my waist I wear a size 12. So I ordered a 10 and they fit perfect! No muffin top due to the waist and fit my rear and thighs great...flattering but not so tight that they're like leggings. And the fact that the band was not a true band was nicely camouflaged by the stitching that made it look like there's a zipper and the buttons. I would highly recommend if you're an apple shape. Here's why I had to return them. They're cut just a bit too low for me. Lee Jeans (on their website) state that mid-rise "Sits slightly below the belly button. Think the timeless, original jeans fit.". Well these fit 2-3 inches below my belly button. So to me that's between a low-rise and a mid-rise. I prefer a true mid-rise to kind of keep my belly tucked in. And due to where they hit when I sat down or bent over they puckered out at the back of my waist, which I didn't like like. And the other thing I didn't like about the dark wash is that there are faded lines across the lower hip area that I didn't find flattering and then the faded front down just past the knee. It is pictured correctly on the posting, I just missed this detail. I know that's the style, but I just didn't like it. And apparently it didn't look good on me either because when I came out with them on to show my boyfriend he thought they were pulled tight and that the fabric was wrinkled. So I gave this 4 stars due to the awesome fit for an apple shaped person. But I still returned due to the rise and the way the pants were dyed. If Lee tweaks the rise and the color I will definitely try them again.

Bought These For The "In Between"
I'll start by saying that Lee is my preferred brand of jeans. I haven't worn jeans in awhile because I've had some physical issues and have lost weight as I've recovered. My former size 14's Lee's are too big, and I can't quite button my new 12's (both petites), so I thought these would be perfect for the "in between". They fit well, but they have only minimal stretch in the waist and nowhere else. The waist on these is slightly bigger (barely an inch) than the ones that don't fit, and if it wasn't for that I don't think these would fit either. I will say though that they fit comfortably. My biggest issue is the pockets which are huge and sit very low. Not particularly flattering, but I can work around with a longer top, so I'm keeping. Decent elastic waist jeans that fit well are hard to find, and right now these jeans seem to be my only option.

Purchase these for several years
This is probably my 5th pair of these jeans. They wear nicely and look like regular jeans but big plus they are pull on. Lots of pockets and still have belt loops if you prefer using a belt. The elastic is stretchy and wide but fits well and doesn’t sag. The pull up takes away the weight of an added zipper. Love the fit since there is no bulk. I’ve worn out my previous pairs - bought one pair Lees pull on a year ago (my other pairs are more than 3 years old) but for some reason they were 2 inches shorter so it must have been one bad or petite pair that I mistakenly received. Double checked this pair for length and tried on immediately and they are perfect. Will continue to buy.

Wahhh!!! 😢
I was so excited for these jeans to arrive! I have capris with the waist styled exactly this way, and I love them. These standard jeans, though, they don’t rise high enough, so they just slide down your hips. I had them on for five minutes, and I walked across the room and I had to hike them up twice. I have to be comfortable in my clothes, and these just do not fit properly, so…back they go!

Great mid-rise jeans!
I absolutely love these jeans because they don't cut into my stomach at all when I sit down - which I have to do all day at my job, and that made normal jeans very uncomfortable. I ordered the size 18 petite (I'm typically a Petite in stores like Old Navy too) - just one note, I'm actually a size 40" waist right now, which is around 2" wider than the suggested max measurement for these pants, but they fit perfectly anyway. My ONLY complaint is that since this are more like mid-rise jeans (they fall JUST at my belly button), they can slip down just a little since that's not past the widest part of my stomach. It's not too much, though, and since these have belt loops I can use an elastic belt if needed which helps a little too. If they were around 2-3" taller they'd be absolutely perfect. I liked them so much, I got them in two colors, and will probably get the third too!
