Easy to assemble, looks great.

Just what I was looking for.
I know I have some down time coming up for a medical procedure, so I figured that I would revive my love for model building. I had built and painted this model in the 70's so I figured it would be a good place to start back up.It arrived in perfect condition and I look forward to working on it.

Classic Model. Had it as a kid. Needs lots of work to get it right.
Didn't like that lower hull is in two halves. Makes it difficult to assemble correctly. But with skill and patience you do get a nice build.

The days of ol'. Had this AMT model decades ago, still love it. Assembly is easy, painting, if desired. is still super simple.

AMT hasen't changed in 50 years!
Really, the only thing this model has going for it is the smooth saucer surface (of which I don't care, either way) and still very thin plastic. It has a three piece mid section, AHH! , and two clear parts only. I suppose you can make the finished product well worth the venture, but for me it goes on the back burner for now. See the Revell kit, it's far superior (cost a bit more also).
