A bought these connectors to match those on my ebike battery. It took scrapping a couple to figure out the best crimp method. Do not crimp too close to the terminal and try not to smash it out too wide. It wont fit in the plastic part. Once connected there is not much retention force. I shrink tubed them hold them together. Overall pleased with final outcome.

Good connector

I received these connectors in November of 2019. I installed some on power leads for a new 2-way mobile radio instillation in my car. They looked like the Anderson Power Poles that I have been using for years. I had no problem mating them with the "real" ones that were on the radio. The fit was fine. Some other users said the roll-pins were not included with the Glarks connectors. It has been my experience that the pins are usually NOT supplied without paying extra. My connectors slid together and don't need a pin to hold them in place. Maybe the manufacturer improved their quality control since some of the earlier reviews were posted. I saved some money, and I'm happy with the product.

Love these connectors. Easy to soder. Easy to connect/disconnect. No mistaking pos and neg. Used 8 guage wire and it just barely fit for these 30 amp versions. Any thicker and you will have to move up to the 40 or 45 amp versions.

This is my 4th set of Glarks. 2nd only to brand name Andersons. Used the entire kit for a project. Worked as expected. 2 pairs needed a minor tap to properly align red/black housings. Contacts inserted without issue if angled slightly/properly upon insertion. Positive "click" upon proper seating. No anti-roll pins, but not needed - very snug fit. Would definitely buy these again.

So, I am all about being a HAM radio operator on a budget, but the fact remains that power supplies, wire, and connectors have to be able to handle the current we place through them. After using this particular brand of "powerpoles" I will state for the record that they are nowhere near the PowerWerx original Powerpoles. The materials these are made from is nowhere near the capabilities of the materials the PowerWerx are capable of sustaining. The plastic is decent, but won't stand the heat. The contacts (pins) are not formed the same as the original, and don't make perfect contact, which allows arcing. After putting a Yaesu FT-857D through some paces in a three man operation during a recent POTA activation, I had one of these get so hot it melted the plastic of the positive lead and come apart. Running 50 watts on the radio, at about a 50% duty cycle, I was drawing just under 2.8 amps according to my inline Budipole Mini solar controller/power conditioner. This could have been very bad indeed. Had the connector been isolated inside a container such as a field box, or otherwise inaccessible, it most likely could have resulted in a fire. We immediately saw that the connector was beginning to fail, so we immediately stopped operations and disconnected the battery, allowing it to cool enough to handle. The pins had welded themselves together and the plastic was dripping off of the connector join. No bueno. I'm giving one star. If I could give a warning star, a circle and slash, or any other way to warn you that all fo the 5 star reviews are likely not coming from people who have used these in such a setting, I would. Go with the original PowerWerx Anderson Powerpoles, period. These certainly couldn't hold up to a TENTH of what they've rated these for, in an intermittent "constant" application.

Die Kontaktzungen können gecrimpt werden, anlöten empfiehlt sich aber, da eine handelsübliche Crimpzange in Stellung "bis 1,5 mm" zu viel und mit der nächstgrößeren Stellung zu wenig Druck ausübt. Die Steckergehäuse können seitlich ineinander geschoben und somit zu größeren Verbünden kombiniert werden.

Good quality and sturdy connector. I used 14awg wire and crimped perfectly. Use the correct powerpole crimper for these.

Using these for my radios (amateur) so nice to have decent connectors that are easy to use and manipulate and they look great.
