Connector may not be the same as other similar products
connectors are not standard. this makes replacing older lights with new string problematic as you may need to rewire plugin connection.

Section wouldn't light up.
Box was open when I received it, part of the rope was very, very white lights and the rest was the soft white I was looking for. After about 10 minutes, the bright part went out and never came back on. There was also nothing else in the box except the lights. No instructions regarding the plug and no hardware to mount as stated. This is the color I have been looking for, so I kept them.

Does not connect to other rope lights of the same brand
Bought this and a green rope from the same company to relight a palm tree. The two ropes do nor connect, requiring two separate extension cords to light the tree. Would not have bought this had I known it would not connect to the other rope. :/

Rope LIghts
Good product, good price. I need 4 lengths of rope light in my antique bar, and one (bottom level) needs to be incandescent, to provide a gentle heat in the enclosed cabinet. The other three are LED.

great lights ... great customer service if any issues
I love using the clear rope lights on my dock for a "not overly bright" atmosphere. Have bought many over the years. Had problem with a strand and Tupkee corrected right away. Great customer service and product.

A great effect for my patio. I love my rope lights!
A great effect for my patio. They are easy to install, you just need a hammer and a couple large cable staples. I plug mine into a timer. This my second set, the previous one lasted over 5 years before the clear plastic faded and it finally quit. I think that's a reasonable service time for the price, making it a good value.
