This is a GREAT book for children! It is also very interesting for adults;ts as it explains so many things and happenings.

This is a very well done and comprehensive book, with interesting photos and facts for young children. For example, going to a random section, the section on "Eating" covers food from around the world, eating in space, early ancestral eating, farming, food allergies, and insect protein. I've bought 20 copies and given it as a gift at all the 4 or 5 year old birthday parties :D and they often love it.

Got this for my curious and detail oriented 3.5 year old son but would easily make a great present for older kids too. Enough material to keep an older child interested too. The book is excellent quality, thick cover and individual pages are a good weight and feel. Illustrations are vibrant and not too overcrowded or overwhelming. Pages are themed. See pics. Very satisfied with this purchase.

We received this book today and my 3 year old loves it! I love that it has a list of related topics on each page. I'd ask what he wants to learn about next. We started at ants and somehow ended up reading all about the human body, skeletal system, and the brain. He kept saying, "Let's learn about one more thing, then I'll go to bed." So we had an hour long story time because I couldn't say no when he was so into learning. I am a bit disappointed that it said "poisonous" snakes though... Snakes are venomous.

Tons of varying info, great for the curious mind! Gave it as a gift for my 7 year old nephew for his bday and he was so fascinated! Just a heads up, it's organized in abc order and not categorized at all. So it's a true mini encyclopedia. But there's info about geography, science, and more.

My daughter loves books! I bought her this for her first birthday. I know, I know! But she really loves to sit and listen to me read and she loves all the pictures! I just wanted a book I could possibly learn from too, but also she could enjoy with me! This is full of information I didn’t know or forgot I knew, and she likes it! Win-win!

Brilliant for kids

My 6-yo and myself absolutely love this book. The photos say it all - it's not text-heavy, which I prefer, for kids (and even myself to be honest lol). A nice staple to have in the home.

Beautiful book. Nice pictures and great hardcover. The content is adequated for a children's encyclopedia. I'm going to be using it a lot with my students in the classroom.
