Great stand on a budget
For a few dollars, this item does wonders. Before I got this stand, I've used a full metal stand, which was good but really (too) heavy , and the stand that came with my Audio Technica mic, which proved insufficient once I got a shock mount. For those who have a mic and want a stand that can support some more weight than the original one, this is the thing to get.

Nice and sturdy
Do the job very well. The adapter give it a plus.

What it lacks in mass it makes up for in quality!
For being made of cheap plastic, it's surprisingly sturdy. Having a 2lb mic atop this thing is sorta like a fat guy leaning back in a chair: Top heavy and worrysome, but the base somehow holds. I like it! Bear in mind that it only has 5/8 attachments, meaning the standard 3/8 on most stands doesn't 'stand' up. No worry since most holders have an adaptor, but still an issue for some people.

Not heavy duty
Bought this for my Yeti Blue Microphone. I had lost some parts for the Yeti stand and thought I'd use this since it include the right adapter to fit the Yeti. However, there are two major issues, both steming from the abnormally heavy Yeti mic. 1) The stand falls over if the Yeti mic is not kept vertical. I needed the mic to be at a 30ish degree angle, but that would cause the mic/stand to fall over. 2) because of the weight of the mic, the mic attach point eventually broke off and made the stand useless. Even though the description says "heavy duty" I didn't bother returning the stand, especially since trying to use the heavy Yeti mic was probably doomed from the beginning. However, I'm still going to give it lower stars because it did break rather easily. If your mic is a standard, not-heavy type mic then you'll probably be ok. I do worry that if your mic is not vertical and instead pointing right at you (parallel to the floor) it might still cause the stand to tip over.I did also like the feature that when the legs of the stand are collapsed, they make a nice handle that allows you to easily hold the mic in your hand or expand the legs and it can sit on a desktop. So think about my Yeti experience and if you don't think your mic will be top-heave with this stand you will probably be ok. Good luck.

legs fold up nicely but the back legs are a little flimsy
It does what I got it for, legs fold up nicely but the back legs are a little flimsy. Seems ok for a tabletop mike stand, fairly stable.

Can’t beat the price; does its job well
I hobestly bought this because it was the cheapest stand I could find. I am not disappointed at all. It does its job perfectly well, is just as pictured, and was like $5 when I bought it. Can’t ask for more than that.

Not durable
I used it as a mic stand for my bongos. It always fell to the side hitting my microphone on the ground. It only lasted 3 gigs. It just broke. Plastic
