Well, there was a learning curve on my part... I started with having both, the backlit portion of these lit, in addition to the bottom portion... The batteries drained quickly, and I thought I'd constantly be replacing batteries... The lighting was PERFECT to suit our needs -- my wife and I, and our new puppy, appropriately named Joy.When, at 1:30am, Joy needs to go outside to do her business and/or my wife and I, use the bathroom... Light is fabulous, and has the perfect hue. This was really well thought out, and the motion sensor is fabulous!All I had to do was use the setting (very easy) to use only the bottom portion, and they've been terrific for over a month and a half. Rechargable solar batteries have solved multiple issues, no bill at the store for replacements, and impeccable lighting. Off grid, entirely. We rarely (once a month, maybe), turn on any kind of hard-wired power light. Zero expense!These are terrific!The only issue I've had is that one of them had the internal components (electrodes) solder incorrectly, rendering that particular light useless. The seller actually reimbursed the purchase, which they didn't have to do... I merely wanted a replacement.I'd recommend these to anyone looking to use these things in such a capacity. They're accordingly perfect!I'll be buying more for several areas.Fabulous product, when you use a little common sense and realize that they have engineered these to work as they do for a reason. I hope these guys make a fortune and sell a ton!Gratefully,Brian

These motion sensitive night lights are just perfect. The brightness is adjustable, and they offer different ways the light can be emitted, which makes them very adaptable to different rooms/areas. Excellent price, too.

So the product is pretty good overall. I really like the lighting, the options, the range of the sensor is exceptional buuuut the installation arrow was upside down so it barely stays on but honestly it lights our stairs a bit better that way.Good value, not sure on battery life but we're like a month in with regular use on the stairs. The size is smaller than expected but performance was good still. Ease of installation shouldn't be an issue. Sticky back for smooth walls and screw holes for textured walls.

Love these little lights! I have one on the wall in our bathroom since it's connected to the bedroom and I didn't want any bright lights turned on at night. I've had this for 2 months now and the battery is still holding up. These things last and work!

I purchased these to us on my elderly mother's bedside step. I have one point at the step so she can see it when getting in/out at night and the other on the end so when she's coming from the bathroom in the dark she sees not only where the step is, but the other obstacles near the end of her bed.You cannot control the duration the light is on, which would be nice; but you can change the brightness of the lights and also select 3 light settings. You can have only the large forward facing light surface, you can just the back light or you can have both.I purchased the Warm White, but if I was to do it again, I'd go with either the Warm Yellow of Amber to make it less shocking. Each module needs three AAA batteries which aren't included. You mount them by peeling off some double stick tape and pressing the back plate onto the surface. To remove the fixture to replace the batteries, you grab the front and push up to release it from the plastic back panel.Overall, we're pleased with both the size, amount of light and effectiveness of the motion sensors.

Easy set up and works great. We used one to light our stairway inside our 5th wheel and the other to light the inside of the cabinet under the kitchen sink, also in the RV. Love that they are motion sensored.

One of the lights does motion sense and turn on and I like how low I can dim the brightness to, the other one doesn’t. If I press a button it will turn on but I need it to sense motion. I’ll probably have to return.

Love these. We have stairs in our home that have no lights . I set up these- three per stairway and it was perfect. They’re really handy. They go off during the day and automatically come on at night. They are motion activated so they’re not constantly on. They provide a soft warm light, which is pleasing to the eyes,yet makes my stairs visible. I will be buying another couple sets to put down the hallway as well. Definitely a needed purchase.
