I love this product because:1.) It is made of Aluminum, super strong, and light2.) Magnetic drain plug to catch any metal floating in your diff3.) Looks awesome and has a great power-coated finish4.) Won't "peel away" like the factory cover when off-roading5.) The dipstick is a MUST have for me because I installed outer Axle tube seals which could conceal in inner seal leak. I check the dipstick every time I service my Jeep. This is my favorite feature of this diff cover and at half the price of most competitive covers with this feature.6.) Great quality hardware included (minus the RTV- I used the lube locker gaskets and highly recommend them over RTV)7.) ***The brilliant product dev team at Alloy gave this product a solid upgrade over the original design. The new drain plug on the bottom is a flat recessed alley screw now! (The current picture from the seller shows a bolt with a head which concerned me as it could be a fail point scraping over rocks). The new design removes this potential fail point. (See my attached Pic). I purchased my product in March of 2020, so I assume current shipping products have this upgrade.Bottom line- this is an excellent quality product at an amazing value!

Amazon said it would fit my 2004 Ford Ranger XLT. It does not. I bought this way before I tried to use it so I own it now. I will give it to a friend with an older Ranger when I see him if it turns out that is what it fits. Not even mad. But I don't have money to burn and I know other people don't either so I came back to let others know. It is a quality build, made in the USA, an upgrade to the factory cover. It has a drain plug, a fill hole and a little oil dipstick which is very nice. I wish it fit my truck. I rated it so low because it does not fit my truck but otherwise I recommend it.

I went with this cover based on the fact that it closely resembles the shape of my original steel cover which if you watch Gale Banks (5) video series on diff covers this means that the lube flows the way the engineers originally designed it to in this diff. I wanted a cover to replace the original just to add a little strength to the case and as a plus it looks good. Jeep XJ Dana 44.

Great product

Fit perfect on my 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock with 44s. You definitely need a hand pump to fill but for ease of use I always use a pump. The cover I recieved was flawless as far as fit and finish. I may update this review once I move a few rocks with it. I'll probably never use the drain plug because my stock plug sits lower.

This thing is great, heavy and seems to be durable, no trail time yet but no leaks with lube locker. Highly reccomend this brand and lube locker, do yourself a favor and grab a pump!
