I know it would make a great laptop desk for sitting on the couch and all, but i use this as a stand up desk at my work desk. I hate sitting all day when I'm working on a project that requires me to be on my laptop all day so I keep this set up at the front of my desk and when I want to stand for a while instead of sitting and getting stiff, i simply move it toward me and lift my laptop onto it so I can stand and work. I always try to do leg lifts and stepping of sorts while I'm standing there working to keep my circulation going strong. Keeps me motivated and helps me avoid stiffness.

I have Crohn's and have had multiple surgeries, so from time to time I get stuck in bed for anywhere from a few days to in one instance a few months to recover. My husband got me this to make it easier for me to use my laptop, and it has been perfect. It is a great height for that, eating meals, writing bills, or even doing small crafts with my child. It really made it easy for me to still feel like I am still part of the family as well as not be stuck laying down or in an uncomfortable position all the time. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to use at my desk, so that I can raise the keyboard and mouse when I want to stand up. This avoided having to buy one of those adjustable desks. The only downside of using it for this is that the legs slide a little on a table top.For most people who use it in bed, this should not be a problem. However if they are using it for a laptop and mouse, they may find it better to buy one that is a little larger, there is not much room for both a keyboard and mouse on this.

I LOVE this table! I use it for school work or for my laptop but it's awesome! It's not too big or not too small. Sits perfectly on top of my bed. Perfect size for anywhere on the go. Good for outdoors activity such as picnic or camping.

Bought this for convenience and to sit comfortable on my couch when I work from home. Opened the box and went to use it and one of the legs won’t even stay in the open position. When I tried to use it, because the leg won’t lock, the desk keeps collapsing. Very unhappy with the quality of the product.

the legs of this little table dont lock into place in any way so theres a risk your little table may collapse on you. has already happened to me a few times after using it for a day.

AEWSOME I LOVE IT! Nice clean looking table and legs fit into couch perfectly. Sturdy and lots of arm room for working with IPad. Only thing that would be better is a cup holder LOL. Great product and thrilled with my purchase.

Update: Changed from 3.5 stars to 2 stars. Returning after tray has rolled over toward curved edge several times, upending my computer, dishes, etc, (like a listing ship, lol). Other times legs collapsed/folded at the slightest nudge. It is unfortunate because otherwise it is a nice tray. (I used on a bed, sofa, and chair and still same issues.)Pros: Nice material and workmanship. Smooth surface, looks like light-grain wood on top (it's laminate). Can wipe clean. Underside finished with plain white-nice! No rough spots on tray or hardware for clothing or other material to get caught. Legs are a continuous loop design which is great for placing on soft surfaces (bed, sofa, etc). Size is very good. Fits my 15inch laptop with (a little bit too small) area for mouse-but I knew that when purchase and that is ok since I don't always use mouse. Easily use this tray for multiple purposes-food tray, laptop, writing, etc. The HEIGHT is Excellent!! A Full 9inch clearance to the underside of tray. Many pluses so I am torn about how many stars to give.Cons: The legs do not "lock" or "click" into place when fully engaged. If tray is pushed (not hard) on softer surface (bed, sofa, etc) the legs on the side receiving inward pressure (direction legs fold for storage) will collapse or partially collapse/fold. The rounded "loop" leg design is Fantastic---BUT the overall span of the leg loop (or the rounded edge needs to be a sharper bend) is too small compared to the size of the tray to prevent "rolling" towards me when using on a soft surface. The outer "edge" of leg loop needs to be both more angled out to the sides (position of leg locking mechanism tweaked) and extended to be even with the front/back edges of the tray. The last thing is that this product pics/info showed a tray that was completely rectangular (90-degree corners) and is what I expected to receive. This tray has rounded edges (actually a plus) with the inner side in a "wrap" formation so it hugs your body if you pull the tray in very close to your torso. This is not necessarily a bad thing but I was anticipating & preferred rectangular tray for my needs.Overall: LOTS of pluses, and the one minus (leg extension/placement/locking) is pretty big because it affects the functionality to the point where initially I thought about returning. Decided to keep because of so many pluses and price is fantastic for the overall material/workmanship. Maybe I can rig some way to make it more stable or just continue to be very careful. Oh and also keeping because of height.
