I'm shocked why this product is getting high reviews. I'm a VERY technical person and I couldn't get consistent connectivity from any of my mobile phones. The video recording is done locally, not to the cloud, so if someone wants to steal a package from your porch they just need to steal this unit as well and there will be no record of the action. I returned this product (thank you for EASY returns Amazon!) and bought the Ring Video Doorbell 2. It took me, literally, 5 minutes to install and the Ring works like a champ! It's more expensive, but in this case I certainly got what I paid for.

Shame on you Amazon! This product is not as described. The reviews are falsified! Check the dates. There are no instructions, online nor in the box. You need an interior outlet to install this - it cannot be hardwired. This makes me rethink every purchase on Amazon, as I rely on accurate descriptions and reviews, as do most people.

I have to return it as it would not connect to my wifi. I paid for installation and the security company who does these types of intalls could not get it to connect and they were closed on the East Coast when we needed assistance. I needed a system asap as I have had problems and waiting for Monday East coast time was too late.

The product box is very delicate, the accessories are put in three boxes, put in order, there is a detailed instruction, two months to move the new home, there is a kind of eager to try,.It must be good.

Most reviews are fake!! Works about half of the time. Often gets stuck offline, and a woman's voice will repeat for hours "system offline" "connection successful" but app won't work. Door bell gets stuck on and rings for hours. Costumer service is a joke. Random emails from China. Would not recommend this product. Too much hassle to take it down, otherwise I would have returned.

I'm not sure why it has good reviews. The Video Doorbell did not come with any set up instructions. It was horrible! after a few hours I gave up and just packed it back up to return.

Never worked out of the box. Cannot get refund, even had electrician try and install it.

3 Electricians said this product was faulty when I received it. Can't return it so I have a worthless piece of junk. Also instructions are poor.
