Winch is very easy to install, Instructions included, so far winch has been working great, retracting is quick, looks Awsome and very well made, Blue tooth controller options included, very good Winch for the price.

Don't let yourself get caught up in the "name brand" shaming cycle. Sure, you can spend four times the amount for a name brand. But this unit will do anything a warn or smittybuilt can. AT LESS THAN HALF THE COST.Build quality was fantastic. The winch operates flawlessly. It's a 216:1 ratio, so isn't going to blow the doors off in a race, but it will get there without overheating.Weighing 59lbs with synthetic rope, it fits perfectly into my Proline bumper on my 2007.5 Dodge Ram 3500.I'm not one for looks of a winch. I more care about how they perform. But this winch looks excellent on the front end of my truck, and pulls like a champ.I wanted to test the unit, so I hooked up to my camper after receiving the winch. Between the truck and trailer, the scale says I'm 16,500 lbs. The winch handled the weight fine up a roughly 10 degree grade.Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Should come in handy l late season elk hunting.

The X-Bull 10,000 lb winch arrived on time. The rubber piece which fits over the wired remote was ripped in half so that is the only damage I can see. The winch works and is very easy to install. The winch also looks very good. *Installed on 95 jeep wrangler.

Overall build seems to be decent, though without extensive use it won't be clear what's inside. However, one obvious shortcut they took to lower the cost is the wire - it's about 4AWG equivalent. The manual says it will pull 300A in some conditions, and 4AWG seems like an extreme way to push it even considering intermittent nature of the load. Competition (HF) uses 2AWG for example.

Bought this winch for my 1997 Jeep TJ. Installation took about an hour but only because it was my first time installing a winch (I'm rather mechanical/handy). If I had to do it again I probably could do in 1/3 the time knowing now where to route my wires to battery. BTW the battery lead extensions are just long enough to rout to battery safely with a few inches to spare. The remote control works flawlessly and the remote cord is long enough to operate the which sitting in driver seat or at a distance from the vehicle. Installed it and immediately went to my local mud/sand hole and "got stuck" intentionally to see how it would hold up. Tied around a tree and the thing yanked it out with relative ease from about +/- 60 feet out. Motor didn't overheat in the time I used it. The engage/disengage worked as it should. The hook with the magnet is also pretty clutch. After one use i'm very happy with how it yanked my tj out of the sand/muk in south florida. I'll come back to edit my reiview after a few months of use. Overall first impressions are that I'm very happy with price/value/effectiveness of this 13.5k winch. Would recommend.

I have had this winch on my FJ Cruiser with a SmittyBilt M1 front bumper.Perfect fit and 2 hour install.Only had to use it once to pull a Forklift(6,000 lb) out of a planter at a job site. No problems.

Bought this winch to replace an old Warn winch that finally gave up. Needed a winch for a trail ride pretty quick and decided to give this one a try. Been extremely happy with it. The unit feels and looks built well. The hook fits nice in the fair lead and really looks good on the front of my Jeep. The synthetic rope is holding up well after several uses. The remote control works great, I use it inside the Jeep without issue. I was going to replace the motor on my Warn and put it back on, but after using this one, I am going to keep it on my Jeep.

I regret to say that my experience with the X-BULL Winch-13500 lb. Load Capacity Electric Winch Kit was nothing short of disastrous. After just one use, the cord snapped while attempting to recover a Toyota Camry, a vehicle well within the winch's specified capacity. The synthetic rope, advertised as durable and reliable, was tangled, melted, and appeared to have been used extensively. Upon closer inspection, we discovered that the rope was frayed in many areas, indicating poor quality and further compromising safety.Moreover, the advertised wireless remote control turned out to be anything but wireless. It required a direct plug-in to the winch, which was inconvenient and contradictory to the product description. Furthermore, the controls were erratic and counterintuitive, causing the winch to operate in the opposite direction of what was indicated.The most alarming aspect, however, was the safety hazard posed by the malfunctioning equipment. During an attempt to pull the vehicle up a ramp, the rope suddenly snapped, sending the vehicle rolling dangerously downhill, narrowly missing a worker and another parked truck.Additionally, upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the item was assembled incorrectly, with components seemingly installed in reverse.Despite attempts to contact X-BULL for assistance and to file a complaint, reaching them proved futile. This lack of customer support only compounds the frustration and disappointment associated with this product.In summary, the X-BULL Winch-13500 lb. Load Capacity Electric Winch Kit not only failed to deliver on its promises of functionality and safety but also posed a significant risk to users and bystanders alike. I strongly advise against purchasing this product, as its unreliability and lack of support make it a liability rather than an asset.
