Kodak ESP C315 Wireless Color Printer with Scanner & Copier

I ordered this printer because I had just purchased about $80 worth of ink for this model when my old printer stopped working. I couldn't find this printer in the store, so I found it from this vendor. When the printer arrived, it automatically installed, after we deleted all former printer add-ons from our 2 laptops. It printed out test pages and shut down when we turned our computers off. Each time my computer was turned on, the printer went through a "starting up" cycle - not one, but 4 times. This was followed by an error message sending us to a web site which then asked us to make a purchase to fix it. We just bought the printer. It should work without purchasing a driver. We called the business number provided for help, but it took several calls over several days before we could reach someone. Calls were not returned when messages were left, but we finally got someone to answer the phone. He walked us through a "fix". Now, the printer continues to be erratic. It goes through the "starting up cycle" 1-4 times each time my computer is turned on. We have printed about 4 or 5 times. But, it still goes to the error message, web site, charge for a fix. However, we can repeat the steps given from the business each time and get it to work. I think I will be buying a printer, again, as soon as I run out of ink.

**Update 7/12/13**Two of these printers died each within 5 days after the warranty expired. In both cases the problem is the same. The printer continually jams when trying to print. The scanner function works fine, but it can't print a darn thing.If you are looking for a printer to last for more than 1 year, this is not the choice for you. If you are looking for something that is basically disposable that you only need for a short time, than this is great.**Original review**I've got three of these printers. Two purchased at Wal-Mart for my home and 1 at my office that I purchased from Amazon.This is a very good overall printer.The installation is very quick and easy for standard USB connections. I've tried doing the wireless connection, however it's defeated me each time.A few things I'm not please with is the time it takes to boot up. When you hit the start button it takes anywhere up to a minute before it is ready to do anything. This can seem like forever when you are trying to do something quickly.Also, this printer does not turn itself "on" when send a print job to it. This is a big disappointment for me as each of my previous printers would turn itself on when you sent something to the printer.A last bit of warning, the clear plastic cover on the flip up display is very poor quality. On each of my printers, this cover came off within 1 day. It can easily be glued back on, but that's not really the point.Functionally, this is a very good printer. Just a bit slow on the start up and the display cover prevents me from giving it 5 stars.

The first problem the disc to load the drivers was warped and had to load the software from the kodak site. This was a pain waited to load. Secondly,the ink that came with the printer was either dried up or was empty. The last was the printer came with no power cord in the sealed box. I had to go buy one. Don't waste your time on this b-ll--it!!!!!!!!

I own 3 of these printers they do great color photo printing

The first one I got from Amazon thru another dealer jammed up, it said paper jam but there was no paper jam. after trying several things, I called Kodak customer support, Explained the problem, and I had a new one shipped overnight at no cost. the 2nd one seems to be working fine.

I did not like the product, but the customer service is excellent.This company goes the extra mile to help.

i love this printer had one and the ink carriage tape broke or came off no one worked on printers in this area GREAT PICTURES and so easy to use just hate that Kodak is no longer around for us

This printer works as a new printer. Documents and photos print perfectly. I'm glad I ordered it. Thanks for your excellent service.
