I only have one negative thing to say about this product so I'm going to get it out of the way. I've purchased and put on several different styles and brands of non-adhesive window film and every one but this one had grid lines on the back so that it was easier to cut to the correct size. I had to cut this into three identical strips to put up on long, narrow windows in my office and it was time consuming and frustrating to have to draw out each line to make sure I was going to cut it straight. Because of that I wouldn't purchase this product again and would instead go for a different brand of a similar style. However if that doesn't bother you, once this was cut this product was very easy to put on the windows with a spray bottle and a wooden ruler since I didn't have a squeegie. It is opaque enough that you cannot see into the office from outside at all in the daytime. If it's dark out and the light's on in the office you can see very vague shapes and movement but it still provides perfectly ample privacy in my opinion.

It does its job but I'm still on the fence. Looks good from the outside, not sure about the inside. Its not uniformly frosted. Maybe its still wet(its been 24 hrs) and when it dries it will be more uniformed. Ill keep it up and see and might just live with it. It wasn't really that hard to install...measure, cut with scissors (go about 1 1/2 inches beyond your measurement on each side). Spray with alot of water (i added a couple of drops of dish soap) before you put up. Peel the back off and attached to window. You can move it around and get just right. (It doesn't stick), you can even take it off and on as many times as you want, just respray with water. Cut it with razor (important to use a very sharp box cutter or exacto knife) and use a credit card to smooth out air. You can pull off top or bottom to help get the air out as you scrap with credit card. I worked on it for about an hour or so...from beginning to end. Jury's out, just waiting to see when it dries. I do like the pattern and its thick, good quality.

I’m impressed with this window cling so far. It’s relatively easy to install as long as you have a very sharp razor edge. The directions tell you to leave an inch over for trimming but I found that made it more difficult and tried to cut the cling much closer to the actual window pane size. Soapy water spray worked well and so far it seems like the adhesion is good. As I got to the inner end of the roll I noticed My last window edge is slightly curled up. Luckily that will not be noticeable, as it is the top corner. I will update my review if it starts to peel away or become an issue.*UPDATE* After 24 hours of dry time, many tiny bubbles appeared under the surface despite there having been none after application and fully scraping all bubbles out to edges. They are not very noticeable from a few steps back, but if you are close up, you can see them. They are dry under film will not scrape out.

We love the look of this film. We just bought a new home and the previous owner had a stained glass look on the sidelights. I couldn't wait to get that down(and am looking forward to painting over that crazy teal!) but we still wanted something clean and simple looking for privacy. This works great. The only thing we noticed was online it looked like the outline of the shapes was clear to the outside which we liked but it's not. It's actually white. It looks nice but wasnt quite what we expected. Obviously we used it and are pleased with the look but thought it may be helpful for others to know!

Opaque for privacy but still lets light shine through. The application process was actually easier than I thought it would be (I got an application kit but as long as you have the soapy water, a flat edge for bubbles, and a razor to trim you would be good). The only improvement I can think of (that I’ve seen in other reviews) is to print a grid or some guidelines on the film backing as a guide for cutting - I had to cut 12 small window panes worth and it was the hardest part to keep the lines straight and perfectly even sized.

This was my first time using any sort of window adhesive/cling. I just purchased my first home and desperately needed something to cover the side door in my dining room. I needed the privacy. I wanted light to come in, but didn’t want blinds. I was hesitant to order this product, but decided to give it a go based on reviews. It fits my needs perfectly! The application was easy for just myself, but a second person would have been helpful. I did order an application kit on Amazon which included a small blade, spray, and squeegee. That kit (especially the small blade) made a huge difference in the ease of application. I have had no issues with lifting or peeling. For the price, this product is high quality with maximum privacy! Not to mention, a nice design.

I installed the film in daylight, and thought it looked great. In the evening, under artificial lights, numerous large and small bubbles could be visualized. I was able to easily clear out the larger bubbles, but the little ones were too hard to remove without removing the entire film and starting over, which I don't want to do. Hence one star removed from rating. Overall however, I do like the look of the film, and appreciate the great natural sunlight that is able to come through, without sacrificing privacy.

This is a great option for privacy when curtains aren’t feasible. We have an old Victorian and I wanted to keep all the windows open to maximize light but hated that people could see in while walking by. This ended up being a great solution and was very easy to install.
