Powerful and loud fans move lots of air - no surprises there.
These are powerful fans where more extreme cooling is needed such as with a bitcoin mining rig or other high performance computing application. I would not recommend them for the average PC installation as they are LOUD (and draw more than usual current), otherwise you would have to muffle the sound perhaps. They also draw more current than the usual PC fans at full speed, so be sure to check your motherboard specifications as they draw over 3 amps at full speed, and about 1.7 amps at half speed. The connector is a standard 4 pin molex for typical Intel or AMD ATX motherboards, and a square 4 pin molex connector is supplied as well. Sure they are powerful and will cool your rig, but get ready for some loud fan noise. These would be perfect for an unattended data room application.

Beasty Fans. Be careful. Lol
These things ain't no normal case fan. They kick like Bruce Lee so if you get them know what you're doing or be Catious and if it's for an antminer they will do just fine as far as my testing and use cases go. Ran and max speed without issue in my test as well. Functionality is fine.

Fit
I ordered these to make my own custom cooling cabinet. I will update after finishing it.

... fan beeef
these work great for keeping my obnoxious gaming consoles nice and happy, they are bigger than i expected but happy about it, they also seem much better quality and performance than all who come before them ... there have been many!

Holy moly man. I thought other reviews were joking
When other reviews said this thing is powerful & loud....I thought they were joking. Or, exagerating.P.S. There is a GITHUB app simply called FanControl that will let you control the fan % in windows, useful even if you CAN control the fan speed in the bios. 30% is the sweet spot it seems. Same noise as old fans, with x4 the airflow, probably more.Personally, I've yet to ever run into a "fan" noise issue personally that bothered "me" specifically.I've always found the "White noise" of them super relaxing. Then I plugged these fan in, and wow, super powerful, also super loud.HOWEVER, you can indeed set the power way lower to them in your BIOS as with all fans.I got the sound "around" the same as my old fans, meanwhile at least x4, maybe x6 the amount of air is being pushed through compared to my old fans.So in short, make it just as quiet as your old fans and = STILL getting WAY more air flow.I had to change these to PWM control in the bios and set them to silent. I hardly hear them now. My old fans I ran at 100% full time and couldn't even get close to the airflow these get.Would 10/10 get for next PC

These move a lot of air!
Specifications for these are accurate but it's hard to see how much air they move in those numbers: it's a tremendous amount.I've got these on a 240 mm radiator pulling air through as an intake for my case. They can bring my system temperatures down to ambient in seconds, and it sounds like a jet engine while it's doing it.In PWM below 15% they seem to stall, so that's the lower limit to running, but at that speed they're silent. I run mine at a reasonable 20% and they get the job done without issue. At 33% they're as loud as anyone would ever want their computer to be and moving all the air you could ever need for any desktop computer. The headroom on these is kind of crazy: at full bore 100% duty they scream and even the most intense benchmarking and stress testing doesn't stand a chance against the cooling power these deliver.I'm sure these will cool anything if you can fit them in your case (check clearance and thickness as these are 38 mm instead of the standard 25 mm).

Tech savvy isn't my thing!
Listen, I know very little about computer components and builds, and I do mean very little. These fans are going into a new build, obviously not being done by me lol, so I will go with why these fans were ultimately chosen.Do they draw more power, and are super powerful? Yes, and yes! Depending on what you are using yours for, this could be either a pro or con for you. Can you adjust the fans settings to use as previous fans before? Yes, so even if you do not need the super powerul heavy duty gusts of wind, even at normal settings to get a normal sounding fan, they still pump out a little more airflow.Honestly, that is about all I understood when being explained. LOLThey are loud as all get out when at full power.
