BEST PICKS HANDS DOWN
Was using Jazz III because I really liked the small picks for lead playing but found they would knock out of my hands a lot when strumming chords. Tried these out & wow they’re the perfect pick. I guess the flex helps them be more versatile.

Perfect sized picks.
Easy to "knuckle" when not picking and feels terrific when in use.

Great pick for my playing style
Guitar picks are very personalized thing, but these works great for me. The smaller grip and the more pointed action made it easier for me to articulate the faster rhythms with better control.

They're ok.
These do indeed dampen your sound providing some warmth and the classic jazz iii shape is nice. However, I don't really see the point in using these over either the classic red&black nylon jazz iii's or the regular tortex jazz iii's. I haven't noticed any real benefits in combing the two. You either like the nylon jazz iii's for its tonal values or you like tortex. For me they're just isn't an in between. I will continue to fool around with them since I now own an entire pack but at first impression I'm certainly not blown away.

The only pick I'll use
Played mostly fingerstyle, in part due to the cumbersome nature of full-sized picks. A friend suggested I try a smaller Jazz pick - went though a couple but all were very rigid and the feel was off. Then found these...for me, absolutely perfect. Great control that feels like an extension of you fingers rather than a second piece of equipment, comfortable to hold and I'm much more accurate on runs as the control is great. Wish list? A different tortex finish, like the matte, and maybe some options on weight, but otherwise, great!

Small, Not Much Flex
I tried the XL and standard sizes of the Jazz III Flex 73mm. The XL is closer to Fender 351s in size, “regular” pick size, whereas these are much smaller, just barely bigger than my fingertips. As such, the pick loses some of the flex of the XL size. It’s more rigid, almost like going up a gauge or two without actually getting thicker. But I expect it’s more flexible than a Tortex Jazz III in the same gauge. Also smoother string feel than Tortex or other Dunlop picks. Not quite nylon, but close; no scraping/grinding sound sliding across a string. If you prefer a smaller pick, and want something with a little more rigidity than nylon, this isn’t a bad choice. If you have bigger fingers, you might want to try the XL version.

My New Go To
These provide a great combination of speed and durability. The grip is very secure. If you're doing more than strumming, these are awesome!
