Owning a bunch of musical instruments (mostly acoustic and electric guitars and basses) I was starting to accumulate a hefty pile of random parts as one does. It was getting to the point where there was just this pile I'd sort through every time I went looking for a bit or bob. Enter the solution: this toolbox is great. It looks and feels reasonably sturdy for the price, and has a handy storage drawer in addition to the main compartment. It has just the right number of little pockets and straps for holding tools (pliers, wire cutters, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) and a solid black with aluminum edges look that matches a bunch of other music gear. While I'm keeping this home in a music room for the most part, this would also be a great box for any kind of gigger--store your tools and strings and replacement parts in a single box that's easy to carry. No more pile! I have everything I need in this one portable box.

EDIT 3/10/25 Manufacturer reached out, shipped a replacement with little to no hassle. I will update once the box has received some use to compare to my original. Thank you for the replacement. Bought this product to store tools in the back of my vehicle for on the go carrying. I have only actually pulled it out of my car 1 time, I primarily just open it in and get what I need. The idea is awesome, I love the product, it has great storage. The latches and the levers for the top hood are durable and strong. I simply wish they would have gone with a little bit more rugged design on the corner and edge protectors. The aluminum edge protectors are not actually sealed to the box, simply held in place via tension / friction by the riveted corner guards. These rivets have completely fallen apart on my box, causing a small headache everytime I look at it or attempt to construct any sort of fix. Possibly some panel bond will help, however, you would think the rivets would be secure enough upon delivery that you wouldn't have this issue. Other then that, it's a great product. If manufacture reaches out, I will update this post. 2/27/25

I bought two of them. One for My Husband and his tools but one for me not for what you think. I bought it for my outIn, Espresso grinder, and maker. I love it. It keeps everything I need straight away whether it’s coffee beans or capsules.

Worked surprisingly well as a makeup box for my spouse. High build quality for price.

This is a great case. Use it for guitar maintenance tools. The back pockets could better positioned, but overall this was perfect for this use. Surprisingly heavy duty.

The drawer face is plastic and doesn't feel great opening and closing... If this lasts a year it will be a miracle. Definitely just a shelf toolbox. I'm ok with it.

Good quality, size suits small breakdown set of tools. Pretty happy would recommend. Sturdy, drawers are pretty good.

This is a good box. What would make it better would be to add a locking feature for the drawer when you close the lid. That will prevent the drawer from opening accidentally when it is securely closed.
