Share the way to maintain lens balance and stability
Needless to say, this is a very good product, it does what it should do as a hand stabilizer. I want to share with you my methods of adjusting balance and some tips. I hope that I can help you guys save time at this step.First of all, you must install the camera on the stabilizer correctly. It is important to note that you must tighten each screw to prevent damaging our camera. When not in use, we should place the stabilizer and the camera horizontally! The next step is to adjust the balance. Before this step begins, we need to remove the lens cap first, because it may affect the weight of the camera. There are two ways to adjust the balance: increase/decrease the weight or the length of the telescopic body rod (usually the two need to be used together). Here's a little trick. After adding the weight, we can hold the stabilizer horizontally in the hand, and then observe the time when the weight side falls. When it can be balanced, it will fall for about two seconds. If you only add two weights, but the weight side does not fall, you need to extend the body to balance them. This is followed by adjusting the center of gravity of the camera to keep it vertical. This step is very simple, you just have to remember which side of the camera is skewed, then you should adjust the position of the camera in the opposite direction. When you figure out the principle of the stabilizer, it will definitely be your perfect shooting partner. I highly recommend Neewer's stabilizer, quality and price/performance are both online.

Good at a reasonable price with very minor issues.
Over all I like it though with my light Nikon D3200 with a 50mm lens is a bit light weight so balancing it takes a bit of work. Still it is smooth and solid. Only three minor issues that don't really effect use. One is spelling errors in the small pamphlet ( you have to go online for the manual ) and two is that the nuts that hold the weights in place have their threads drilled off center. Three is the weights are not exact matches. They are off by 1 gram. No big deal since you can slide the weights in and out to fine tune the balance.

Highly recommended
I bought this for mobile video shooting a month ago. It was not until this week that I felt that I was very comfortable. The stabilizer is not as easy to handle as you might think. If this is your first stabilizer, you should be mentally prepared, because you will spend a lot of time mastering it and adapting it (except of those who are smart). I don't believe my problem is the fault of the product, because I still lack experience in camera. Exercises help me to use it better. Let me talk about the product itself:Pros:- Price- Made of carbon fiber, lightweight, durable and rugged- The bearing/joint looks very smooth- Rubber handleCons:- It's hard for the novice to get used to it (I think most other stabilizers are like this)- Has no gimbal lock. (Really unfortunate, or I haven't found it yet?)Neewer's stabilizer is a good hardware. All you have to do is practice more.

Cheap, works with lots of patience
There's nothing inherently wrong with this stabilizer. With enough work and skill, you can get the same results as a much pricier one. Still, with the amount of work that goes into balancing it each and every time you use it, I would say if you have the budget, go with a Steadicam or something.

Too much work to set up the balance properly
I read the reviews and watched several customer setup videos and bought it. Now I'm here to say that you need a lot of time and a safecracker's touch to get "just" the right balance to make this work properly. And once you do, don't you dare rack the zoom lens or move the swing-out screen or add an external mic or a light or remove the neck strap from your camera because that's enough to throw it off-balance.I spent an hour trying this and all I got was a kind-of-balanced result and forearm muscles that still ache two days later from holding this rig by one hand during setup. And my gear isn't heavy - a mirrorless Canon M50 with a Viltrox adapter and a vintage Canon 28-70mm EF lens. The build is solid and the price is right but the devil is in the details of making it work properly. I'm doing run-and-gun wedding videography and I can't imagine trying to carry this for an hour and changing lenses too.If you do want to try it, get yourself a quick-release mount like the Ulanzi Claw to attach to the removable plate. That way, if you need to take the camera off the stabilizer you won't have to go back to square-one with balancing when you put it back on. And get two Claws - one to mount on the stabilizer and another for your tripod for quick switching.

I want to speak for it!
This is definitely the lightest stabilizer I have ever used, and I think it's all thanks to its material (carbon fiber). In fact, its structure is also very good, because I quickly mastered it, and I feel it makes me feel very comfortable. This must be related to my previous experience, but I am still surprised by it. Also equipped with a case which makes it easy to carry. If my friend asks me, I would immediately say the name of this stabilizer!

Doesn't balance for crap
It would be a miracle to get anything to balance on this. This is not worth your money, buy an actual gimbal or the real steadycam if you're so inclined.

Excellent for the price ( Blue Neeweer Stabiliser )
Excellent for the price! I had another cheaper stabilizer at home that I got at 50$. But this one is way better. EVen though it is not the 800$ stabilizer I want, it still does the job.PRO:1- Easy to install and to set up2- Good quality3- Screw easy to use4- Comes with a bag and doduments.5- Handle is steady6- Excellent for the price.CON:1 - None apart that is is cheaper then the 800$ one I want to buy. :)2- If your new to this, you will need "alot" of practice. Even if you set it right, trust me, you need to practice your balance, your walking speed, how you hold it with you hands ( both hands ) correctly. You can't just walk normally assuming it will do all the job. No. It doesn't work like that. you need to keep your legs "bent" at all time and walk like a Ninja if you can. You need to absorb all foot impact where ever you are and make sure you hold the bar ( assuming you are right handed like me ), hold the bar "gently" with your left hand in order to restrict the stabilizer to make sudden jumpy shakes. And that my friends, requires practice. Don't assume the stabilizer will do everything for you.Cheers :)
