they do the job they are advertised to do
I have been wanting some of these open ear earphones for sometime, but I do not like to use Bluetooth headsets in general, as I remain convinced that they're giving me headaches and things which is probably not correct, but there you go.first of all, there are quite a few reviews for this product already. So I'm hoping to add some extra details. For anybody needing to know about the cable length, it's very generous. You're looking at about 30 cm between the ears and the point where they join together on the cable and about 85 cm between the end of the cable where the they connect to your device and the joining of the left and right ear cable; so we're looking about 115 cm in total which is quite generous these days, and it means that a phone or some other device would be able to be kept in a trouser pocket without causing too much strain on the cable or for the earphones to be pulled. A clip is provided (attached) so that the microphone and volume adjustment buttons can be kept relatively stationary by clipping the wire to your shirt or coat or something like that. The microphone and buttons feed from the right earphone wire and not the left as is common. I don't know if this is important information for anybody, but it doesn't seem to get mentioned in any of the other reviews. As for the quality of the earphones they are very very lightweight. The other reviewers are correct. You would forget you were wearing them. You can hear as well as you would normally be able to hear the surrounding environment when there is no noise coming through the headphones. They absolutely do not impede your ears in anyway whatsoever. As a result of this, the sound quality is not the same as you would expect from a normal pair of headphones, but if you are looking for the sound quality from a normal pair of headphones, I would suggest you buy a normal pair of headphones. The sound quality from these earphones far surpasses the quality I was getting from bone conduction headphones and they do not have the annoying vibration effect, which almost tickles the side of my face when listening to any music which has any degree of bass to it. The sound quality from these earphones lacks deep bass altogether. You can correct the sound to some degree by using a graphic equaliser on your device, which may boost the bass very slightly, but do not expect it to replace the missing bass as these earphones are incapable of delivering those frequencies. This is not a fault of the product, but the nature of how the product is designed to interact with your ears. The lack of a seal between the drivers of the earphones, and your ears means that inevitably the lower frequencies are harder to hear.Anyway, sound quality is very subjective to the person who is used to varying degrees of quality headphones to begin with, and also to the context in which they are being used. You would not wear these headphones to listen to music for pleasure at home in your front room or treating yourself to a cheeky drink. You would listen to these headphones when you were doing something where being aware of your surroundings environment is priority. It is difficult to precisely describe the sound quality of their earphones, but I think the best way to describe them would be to imagine you have two very small portable speakers that have been put near your ears as opposed to headphones. If you have ever used those small passive speakers that did not require any power and used to be powered from things like a Walkman you will know what I am talking about. And for similar reasons to there being a lack of bass, there is also a lack of very high frequency response too as you can see from how I have adjusted my graphic a equaliser in the picture attached. so, in a nutshell, if sound quality is really important to you, more important than the ability to hear your environment around you when wearing earphones. Do not buy this product. It is absolutely not for you. If you are not expecting high-quality audio but want something that is more comfortable to use and better sound quality than bone conducting headphones that this is for you. I can imagine the target audience here are runners, joggers, cyclists, and people who need to be able to frequently talk to other people or just simply want to be able to go into shops and not have to keep taking the earphones out etc.Saying this, I found the sound quality to be good enough to enjoy listening to music in such situations. Not only that, but the volume level is high enough that I do not have to run the audio device on full volume. This may change depending on the environment you are using them in. For example, if you are using them on the bicycle on a busy main road, you may want to have them on full volume in order to be able to hear your music or podcast. If you are listening to spoken word podcasts out and about it would be a good idea to find some application back to some kind of dynamic range compression anyway to keep the voices are so loud volume at all times as it is podcasts and spoken word recordings that are most likely to be drowned out by environmental noise.I have included a picture of one of these earphones on my ear. I did read some of the reviews when somebody said that they couldn't understand why anyone would need the medium to large size as the small size would fit anybody without humongous "dobby ears". This is absolutely not true. These ear phones are big enough for my ears as a big person (, 6' 5") but anything much smaller definitely would not work for me.I have also included the graphic equaliser settings that I use on my music player in order to make these earphones sound optimal.I give the product five stars here, because it meets all the criteria that they set out to achieve and the quality of the item appears to be good and the price of the item appears to be very competitive. I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was comfortable to sleep in these earphones as has been suggested by other people who have reviewed them. Obviously, if you have small ears you may want to look for the other version of this product which is for people with small ears. This one is the one to get if you have the head and ears of a generally medium to big person. The other advantage of this kind of earphone is that they do not intrude into the ears in anyway whatsoever, and as there is no ear pad across the ear lobes, they do not heat up the ears. If you have problems like I do with using earbud type earphones, i.e. the ones that get shoved right into the ear canal, causing irritation and a blockage and things like that then these will also be very useful for you.for me, it is either earphones like these or ginormous full over-ear earphones which are not always practical to be taken out and about.also keep in mind if you are thinking of using this product in an environment such as an office or a bus or train then the level of leakage from these earphones is higher than you would expect from earbuds or even on ear headphones. You would need to keep the volume quite low if you did not want to disturb fellow workers. Obviously if you are going to use these to take phone calls then other people may be able to hear both sides of the conversation. This might not be a problem to you, but it is something to consider.

Good for listening to stuff at night
Like these for listening to stuff in bed and not disturbing my partner but also being able to hear them if they wake. On the whole they are good and served their purpose well and are a reasonable price, the only down side is that one side hurts my ear after prolonged use and there is no adjustability

Great headphones
These are fab headphones and so inexpensive. I use these to watch programmes and videos on my iPad. They’re so easy and comfortable to wear and they don’t block out surrounding sounds so I can hear what’s going on in the house.

Pleasing midrange and treble, no bass
Well, they're certainly comfortable. It's hard to imagine how they wouldn't "fit" over your ears unless you have lugholes like Dobby the House Elf. I think those who have problems with fitting are most likely (and quite reasonably) expecting a sealed connection with the ears.Allowing free air passage around the headphone seems to be a key design feature. On the one hand I can hear the outside world and it provides a sense of "openness" that is absolutely lovely. On the other, bass frequencies coming from the two vents in the headphone pod disperse instantly and also cancel each other out, giving basically no bass. Like none.Stuffing the pod into your ear hole so that one vent is pointing along your ear canal (and the other vents externally) yields the missing bass, but the moment the air seal is broken the lower two octaves of your music disappear. This isn't down to the quality of the headphone design: I reckon it's a fundamental and deliberate compromise to provide *most of* your music whilst allowing you to hear everything about you. Fair play to the manufacturer, but I think they should set expectation a little more firmly to avoid the kind of disappointment I haven't felt since being given an electric toothbrush by my parents for my 11th birthday. 🦷In all, probably great for speech or if you think music played on your phone is "perfectly good"... but shocking for your favourite hard house album, because it makes a 808 bass drum sound like someone throwing an empty bean can at a caravan.

The best!
Love these earphones - they don’t hurt my ears unlike in ear ones. Also the sound is very loud yet i can still hear what’s going on in the room around me which is really helpful

Less than two months durability
Ordered on the 28th Jan. By 18th March the cable leading into the usb c connector felt loose and they were unable to properly connect to anything. My phone would sometimes be able to recognise them but not be able to play any sound through them, other times it would not register them at all. Other usb c connections worked fine e.g. charger so it was definitely a problem with the headphones alone.Sole use had been listening to music and audio books on the train/walk to work so not much strain on them.

Decent Product for the money paid
Decent Product. Lightweight and flexible. Did not cause any issues and sat nicely over my glasses. The quality of sound was absolutely fine for what I purchased them for.

Awesome sound while it lasted!
2 Stars given for the quality of the sound I received from these when they worked!I use these of the gym and work out 4 times a week. For the first week they were spot on - no connection issues, sound quality was awesome - couldn't fault them. After a week of solid use the right earpiece started to inconsistently supply good audio - it went from really good, to really poor. I think it may be the headphone cable as if I looked up in the air the sound was great, looking straight ahead or down to the floor resulted in poor audio.I have set up a return for these.
