Good quality
This has been the best air compressor hose I’ve used. It’s withstood summer and winter in the elements with only a little fading of the color. Still works as expected with no leaks or bumps.

Don't buy cheap hoses
I've used the high pressure Goodyear hoses for years, and the only difference with this one is it's slightly more flexible...which is ideal for a hose reel applicable (how I'm using it). While there are no-name, lesser brands, having a safe hose that you don't have to second-guess is worth the slight cost increase.

Overall a nice hose but….
This is an overall good hose but over time with heavy use it will develop a bubble at the end of the hose and blow out.

Nice hose!
I bought this to replace a plastic air hose that I got from Snap-On. The plastic hose is difficult to wind up for storage. The plastic seems like it has a memory and wants to confound your efforts to roll it up. This rubber hose solves that problem nicely. Highly recommended!

Great air hose - plus mine still says "Goodyear" and "Made in USA" on the hose - purchased directly from Amazon.
I ordered both the 50 ft and 25 ft Goodyear Rubber Air Hose, and so far have been pleased with the quality of the hoses. I previously owned an Amflo PVC hose, so this definitely was an upgrade. The Amflo performed OK for a number of years, but once I saw the inevitable bubbles, it was time for a new one.To quell any confusion on what you will be receiving, my hose still says "Goodyear, Made in USA" on the hose. There has been a lot of reviews that state Continental bought out Goodyear air hose manufacturing, and this is true, so I was uncertain what I would get. In fact, you can buy the Continental version of the Goodyear hose here on Amazon also, and it states it is manufactured by Continental right in the title. I am not sure if these Goodyear hoses are remaining inventory, or if Goodyear is still making them, I was under the impression they no longer did. So realize at some point you may not be able to purchase the Goodyear branded version of this hose - keep that in mind if you are thinking of purchasing. I am not sure that it matters, but I took comfort in knowing I had the time tested Goodyear branded hose delivered. As far as the quality of the hose, I have used it a number of times and pleased with the way it handles and works. The hose will still kink if it is not under pressure, so keep that in mind when stretching it. You may have to turn the hose to avoid kinking, or get a swivel. When it is under pressure, it does not kink under normal use. I like how this hose lays flat compared to the cheaper quality PVC hose, it handles much better and is not such a pain to work with, as the PVC would "stand up" off the ground and pose more of a trip hazard.Note this hose does not come with any fittings, it has the standard 3/8 in male threaded connectors on each end. I read a review or two that expected to have a quick disconnect come with the hose, but it does not.Overall I am very pleased with these hoses, they are not cheap, but I am satisfied I have a high quality hose that will last a long time. If that changes and I have any issues, I will update the review.Recommended. Thanks for reading!

Best hose for shop, especially on a retracting reel
For SHOP air, this simple, plain Jane rubber hose is ideal. It's the heaviest of the three types (rubber, PVC, Polyurethane). It's also the most kink resistant. To kink it you have to force it into an unnatural bend. The other two types of hose seem to SEEK the bend and turn themselves into a kink.If your hose is on a reel, this is the ONLY kind of hose that will not frustrate you. Reinforced poly is "sticky" and PVC is "stiff and brittle". It's a battle to force those two into a reel. But rubber hose seeks to lay well in the reel.If you were using a hose for on board air in a truck, or for portable tools like nail guns, this kind of hose would be less practical than reinforced poly (heavier, more bulky). But for that big tank and reel in the shop, this simple hose is what I use. Replaced it once in 15 years. It tends to dry out and begin cracking after a decade or two of pretty modest home shop/man cave use. This is also a great source of stinger hoses. Buy a full length hose for nearly the cost of pre-made 10 ft stinger hoses. Cut your own to any length you like, install fittings, start moving' air. It'll make several stingers for about the cost of one that's pre-made.Once the hose eventually DOES die after 10-15 years, I use pieces of the old hose as wire protectors, panel pass-through protectors, whatever.Once in a while I read negative reviews about the hose and connector separating, bubbling, losing air etc. I've never seen any air hose not suffer stuff like that. Good grief, snip off the end and install a new fitting. Costs a dollar and 15 minutes. If a hose lasts 15 years and you need to replace a fitting twice, that seems pretty reasonable. I consider replacing hose ends every few years just normal maintenance. I consider replacing the hose every 10-15 years similar normal wear and tear. Thanks - Lumpy

Awesome replacement hose for garage compressor
Awesome replacement hose for garage compressor. The compressor shipped with a plastic hose that did a decent job. But at really cold temperatures it was unusable. The plastic hose would not straighten out and eventually cracked at the fitting on the end. This hose has none of those issues. If you need one that will stay flexible in the cold (-10C or colder) this one works well.
