These combs are a great deal on Amazon. I tried to make them a better deal buy purchasing them from Essential Trends. They sent me rainbow colored horse combs that were physically to big for the human head. They were slow to reply, however they did a refund for both the item and the shipping. I have now repurchased them from Amazon directly and received the correct item shown in the pictures in black and brown.All that being said, lets now review the comb. My wife likes these more than standard combs because the work better for longer hair such as many females have. They also work great in a lot of different styling techniques. Why now would I buy 12 of them? It does save some money as these comb run around $2 or more at your local store (except the dollar store they are at the price you could imagine). I also get the added benefit of forgoing any more complaining about a broken comb from my wife for around 50 years.The product is 5 stars, the one star knock is for the purchasing issues described above.

The color I recieved was bone, not black. If you select the black color they are not transparent enough that you may recieve either color. Luckily it was so cheap that it's not worth it to return. Feels very sturdy and the tail isn't too sharp which some combs can have. I just wish it was the color I selected.

I like the comb, but they sent the wrong color. I wanted black and they sent none.

My rat tail comb that's older than me broke and I was SO sad to replace it. I've seen the chintzy sad combs at the store and debated about asking my hairstylist to get me a new one. On a whim I decided to check Amazon and get this comb. I'm glad I did because this is hefty and solid like my old one. The value is great and I love the unique tan color. I would recommended this for sure!

RIPPED OFF....Very disappointed with this perchase, over price plastic comb, and not at all what I had hoped for. I will NEVER order from this supplier again. Misrepresentation and poor quality, I can not believe they charge this much for something I could have gotten in Toronto for $1.99 Canadian. Live and learn....

The comb came in time a piece of plastic nothing like the one in the picture,very disappointed !!!
