Works great
As long as you have what you need it works great, 12v set up holds my door super hard, no problem.

Powerful little magnet
Using this maglock for demonstration purposes on a training I do for work. It's small enough that I can travel with it and show the class how it works. I will be buying more for bigger classes.

Holds maybe 10 pounds at the most, won’t hold anything close to rating

Worked great for 1 day.
I purchased this in February and just installed it yesterday. Installed just fine and the mounting bracket was great. Now after 1 day of use it is dead. 12vt goes to it but now nothing. And now it's outside the return window.
