very poorly made
The non-stick coating is very, very thin and ineffective. The first time I used it, even though I used non-stick spray, the eggs still stuck to the cups. And, even though I used a wooden spoon to dig the eggs out, it left noticeable scratches on the bottom of the cups.

The finish doesn’t last & flakes off
I’ve only had this egg poacher for a little over a month. I’ve used it twice, and now the non-stick finish is actively flaking big dangerous flakes. I had to throw it out. In the past I’ve purchased the Bialetti brand poacher instead, and even though the finish slowly came off over time it was nothing like the big flakes this one is shedding. I only bought this brand because I couldn’t find Bialetti brand one. Save your money- they need to improve the quality of this product.

This is my second Norpro Egg Poacher. It seems ...
This is my second Norpro Egg Poacher. It seems that the company has redesigned the product and the egg cups are now too small. The egg cups will not hold a large egg and thereby create a mess on the counter and in the pot as the egg whites overflow the cups. Not Recommended

Good Poacher
A good, functional egg poacher. It's greatest width is six and three-eights inches, so it can fit into a smaller pan. A medium egg works best. With a large egg, the white spills over just a tad. I recommend a light oiling or buttering of the egg bowl before putting in the egg.

Terrible
Don't waste your money. I had one before but obviously I paid more because this one is terrible. No matter whether I use cooking spray or butter the eggs stick. Hard to get out in one piece. Spend a little more and get a good one. I tried to save money.. big mistake
