Steel Dragon Tools44165 Rear Centering Assembly D970 fits RIDGID 300 535

I bought this for an older Ridgid 300 which was missing the rear centering jaw. It was easy to install, fits good and does what it's intended to do. It's not Ridgid brand but seems to be of decent quality...only time will tell.

This doesn’t necessarily fit a rigid 535. The spiral shaped piece on a 535 bolts on with 4 cap screws versus the pins that this unit comes with. The pins are not in the same location as the screws. Luckily i was able to use the old spiral piece and make it work without modification.

Item fit perfect on my Ridgid pipe threader. No difference in part except does not have Ridgid name on it and is only a fraction of the cost of a Ridgid brand part.

It does the job. I pulled it apart to attach it to my machine and noticed the slide teeth threads are pourly cast however it works fine.

Just like OE but the small inner ring does not have the four pre-drilled holes like the first gen 535 RCU has. but once I drilled it and bolted it up it worked great.

Fit on my Ridgid 300 fine. Quality not the same as Ridgid, but neither is the price. Will see how well it lasts.
