UPDATE AFTER 11 MONTHS on 11/21/2019:My special needs son STILL wears this to bed nearly every night, and I never did end up ordering a duplicate like I was meaning to - because I didn’t have to. I wash and dry it frequently in regular washing machine loads and it has held up amazingly well for nearly 11 months now, and still going strong. It has retained its softness, and the hood on it is only just now looking slightly worn - but considering it has seen daily use this whole time, including when we’ve traveled out of town, it’s a miracle it is still holding up, much less looking so good (and the hood still looks nice and cute despite looking only slightly more worn - as in, I would not hesitate to donate this to a family member or friend once he outgrows it...even that “slightly worn” part of it is still in great shape and only looks very gently used now as opposed to brand new). I don’t think we’ve ever owned anything like this that was so loved and gotten so much use that didn’t fall apart in some way by now, so I have to say that this is one durable robe! I just wanted to update this in case anyone wondered as to the quality or longevity of this robe - I can personally attest that it is built to last and retains its cuddly softness, and it is still my son’s absolute favorite must-have each night for bed!ORIGINAL REVIEW:My 9 year old son wears this as soon as he gets home from school (throws that hoodie on over his head and all), wears it all evening, and even insists on sleeping in it over his jammies. He loves it that much! It feels like a super soft, cuddly blanket, so I don’t blame him. This robe (the dog one) is adorable, soooo soft, and it washes and dries very easily with no problems. It’s a perfect robe for winter, and the hood and sherpa linings make it so cozy. Considering he has worn it for over a month a LOT and it has gone through many washings and activities and it still looks new, I would say this is wonderful quality. I did not expect him to wear it more than occasionally since he never cared much for robes before...until this one!! I may have to order another one for him because he wears it so often and I am worried that he will eventually wear it out and I won’t be able to find a duplicate at that future date. He is a special needs child and very sensitive to textures, etc., so I am happy we found something he loves to wear to stay warm and cozy in the house through these chilly winter evenings.

I purchased two of these robes for my kids who are on our local swim team. The description described the robes as terry cloth, which they are not. However these are a couple of the most soft, plush, fluffy robes I have ever felt in my life.My eldest is 8, he is 56" tall and weighs about 60 lbs. I purchased him the XL size. It fits as described but still has plenty of room to grow. For my 5 year old who is 44" tall and weighs about 54 lbs, I also purchased the XL size as I wanted them to be cozy after their races and the large size was sold out. His is definitely large on him, but he calls it his "blankie coat" and it was the perfect size to cuddle up around him after his race.The fabric of the robes is a very plush micro fleece and is not the best for drying off after being in the pool, the shower, or at the beach. But that did not seem to bother my boys in the slightest as they put them right on while they were wet.The shark decoration is adorable and everyone knew immediately what they were. The teeth are made out of a starched felt and at first were a little stiff and pokey, but after being washed the first time they softened right up. They are fabulous robes and I would definitely purchase again.4 star review is due to the description of the robes as terry cloth when they are not.

This product is adorable. This product is soft. I would even describe it as somewhat absorbing. But is a terry cloth? Nope. Terry cloth is cotton and this is clearly not it.I was planning on using this as more of a nighttime snuggly robe then a straight out of the shower robe. Had my intentions been for this to be used like a towel for after bathtime purposes, I would be sorely disappointed. This is more like at the type of robe that you use to walk around the house or put over your PJs to keep warm. In fact, it is nearly an identical fabric to several of my kid's blankets.I ordered the dinosaur because my daughter loves making roaring noises. Holy cuteness, Batman! This is not only warm and cozy, but it is also heaps of fun for her to wear and for us to play pretend together.The stitching is good. The colors did not run During washing. Overall, it is a good quality. Because this is not legitimate terrycloth, I have deducted a star. It was an incorrect description, but was actually more of what I wanted then the original portrayal.

My son and his wife have a 3 year old foster son whom we have not met. His bio mom may get him back next month. But my hubby and I bought this little foster angel PJs and this cushy bear robe to keep him warm thru the Maryland winter and to take with him to his birth home if the judge so deems. This robe is so very soft and cuddly! I really wish we could be there to hold this tiny boy!

The second time was a charm! On the original robe I received, one of the pockets was not stitched correctly, so hanging off on two sides. I contacted the seller, who immediately sent another robe, and also emailed a label for me to use to send the damaged one back at no cost. I received the second robe in two days! It is perfect! Great quality, good fit and very cute style. I would definitely recommend this robe.

My sister-in-law was wearing this comfortably and she is not as small as a kid but I gotta say.. this was a great buy. Super soft and made well. My niece can grow into it if her mom doesn't take it from her for herself hahaha

Love this! My 3 year old son looks so cute in it and he loves dinosaurs so it’s his favorite thing to wear now. It’s really soft and perfect for after he’s been dried off after his bath. The material doesn’t absorb water well at all which is fine for how we use it. I bought the size for 4-7 year old thinking he’d grow into it. It’s really big on him but not a big deal since I just roll up the sleeves and tie the robe around his skinny waist. We’ll be using this for a while!

Very disappointed with a material. It’s 100% acrylic. I was looking for a pure cotton for my kids
