Not shipped in a box anymore
Have used these brushes in the past, they used to be shipped in separated layers in a cardboard box, easy to store, easy to grab when finishing a piece. The most recent order came tightly wrapped in plastic, difficult to store, difficult to access. I would be willing to pay a bit more for better packing and ease of storage.

good product
I use these mostly for polyurethane. They do a good job. It goes on smooth with very few bubbles. The brushes last for 2-3 applications 3 hours apart if put in a plastic sandwitch bag. I have bought them many times they seem the same each time.

Undeniable Difference
For years I always thought that all foam brushes were created equal, until I was working in my Dad's shop back home and saw him brushing on polyurethane in ways I thought were impossible.I studied his technique and asked him questions and I already did all of the things he was doing, but we used different brushes.I took a couple of them for my next project and nearly cried with the insane difference between them. These brushes HOLD so much finish since they're nice and absorbent which means they can then DEPOSIT it onto the workpiece slowly and evenly as you make a long stroke down along the face. The other brushes I used wouldn't hold much, so I'd constantly have to go back and forth to the poly can, resulting in either deep spots where it would pool out at the beginning of the stroke, or overbrushing from trying to even it out. These brushes can also be used twice more successfully than most other foam brushes too - if you really squeeze out the poly with a paper towel after using it, it'll be a bit stiffer for the next round for sure, but still able to have decent application (I do this to get more use out of the brush for any underside or back of projects).Overall Jen Mfg foam brushes are WELL worth the higher price point than other poly brushes, and I won't ever look back.

Great brushes for stain and polyurethane
These brushes arrived quicker than expected. I ordered 96 brushes because using these brushes for staining and applying polyurethane works very well to apply a consistent coat and get into corners and routed features of the kitchen cabinets I have refinished. And after every use, I just throw away the brush. By buying them in bulk like this, the cost is less than a quarter of what I would pay at the local home improvement stores. I have also used them for staining my deck - great for staining around railing stiles and between the planks.

Not nicely boxed as the q&a indicates
Since they were not boxed "nicely" as it said they would be in the q&a but poly bagged 32 pieces per bag with only the outer shipping box they are slightly distorted and will become more so if stored that way for any length of time.

These are the real deal and the best quality.
I couldn't be more pleased with these foam brushes. The highest quality at a great price. I have been having issues lately with the foam brushes from Lowe's, which were once good quality, snapping off where the little plastic insert goes into the wooden handle. I also had the foam head on two of the last batch I bought fall off - brand new right out of the bag. NONE of that with these. Also, over the top nicely packed in a box that, if opened the right way (look for a paper tab), will open and close on one side - with a packing tape "hinge" on the other side - making for a nice storage box. I will use these exclusively from now on.

Very well made foam brush.
These foam brushes are very well made and work great for me. I use a lot of polyurethanes and these leave a smooth streak free finish.I was a bit apprehensive when they arrived because the foam is denser than the foam brushes I previously used and they seemed stiffer. I wondered if they would hold as much product. Well they worked great, holding as much product as the others and spreading the product smoother. They don't get sloppy after heavy use.I dismantled the made in the U.S.A. Jen Manufacturing brush to see the innards compared to the "imported" model. Night and day difference, see for yourself. The Jen brush had a stiffer plastic backing that is stapled into a groove in the handle. The imported brush has a more flimsy piece of plastic that insets into a hole in the handle. These foam brushes are great and I would not hesitate to buy them again.
