Gotta give it up! For the Fold 7 this case is about the best you're going to get for value, form, and function. I got a silver fold 7. The best color without debate. I tried this one and went for the grey. The grey case from ghostek was cool with the 2\100 marking and special box, but I just didn't like the pastel grey. I got the clear\matte one and it's perfect. Same quality, & $10 less. I feel this case will protect my $2000 phone very well, I'm a helicopter pilot and there are a lot of hard pointy things in the tight cockpit. You drop your phone in there (when copilot has the controls of course) & you're not getting your phone back until the end of the flight. During that time it's going to get the donkey Kong beat down as you fly around. It is not that darn bulky, I'm coming from a s24u with a silicone Samsung case, this still feels smaller than that and very solid\high quality. For some reason fold7 cases are hard to come by right now, at least quality ones.... So I was glad to find these. I'll update if needed. The only improvement I can see right now is the front screen part of the case. The thin(folding side) part of the case can slightly protrude on the main screen if you don't apply the adhesive perfectly. This is a precision, Flag ship phone, so it needs precision care I guess. I was extremely disappointed with the Ghostek Covert case, as it ultimately caused damage rather than providing protection. The faceplate of the case does not stay properly adhered. Despite being installed according to instructions, the front frame would not remain secure. While opening my phone with the case on, the faceplate ejected off the device, and immediately afterward the hinge protection cracked my screen protector. This happened during normal use, not a drop or impact. The design flaw appears to be related to poor fitment and hinge alignment. Once the faceplate came loose, the hinge guard put pressure on the screen area, resulting in damage to my screen protector. A protective case should never introduce risk to the screen—especially during routine opening of the phone. I contacted Ghostek customer support about the issue. They asked me to provide photos showing the improper fit and the damaged screen protector. Unfortunately, this request is unreasonable: the screen protector is attached to the phone, and the issue occurred dynamically when the faceplate detached during use. It’s not something that can be easily captured in a photo after the fact, especially once the case has already failed. Overall, the case suffers from poor front frame adhesion, questionable hinge protection design, and inadequate real-world durability. Given the price and the purpose of a protective case, this was a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this case for foldable phones.

Just recieved my order in the mail. The case feels secure and doesnt detract from the screen as some reviewers have stated. I think the build quality and protection are solid. My only issues is the bulkieness. I spent 2k on a phone for its form factor and thin bezels why would I want to add thick plastic to it? I also dont like the way the henge panel flaps open and closed and was hoping for more of a seamless design like the original Samsung case I just replaced.

Not bad looking and feels quality. Only thing if you have a front screen protector the case might push off the protector. Not sure if Ghostek has a screen front tempered glass they recommend but broke one front screen protector and on a second one.

I just returned this case after a week. I found the case to be extremely bulky with the hinge being huge. The other issue I had was that the bulk of the case made it hard to activate the volume buttons which is very annoying. Also I found the front screen protector to move so that I couldn't get the leftmost edge and the hinge would occasionally get stuck on this part of the case. The accusative isn't great so that side bowed and disturb the screen. The case isn't ergonomic but I did give it two stars as it is a good protector of the phone. It just doesn't do anything else well. I will recommend the Spigen version which I purchased before this one, I only purchase this as I thought it would be a good replacement after I drop my phone and broke the old case, but not the phone. Clear Spigen was on back order but I thought this would be a good replacement, unfortunately it isn't and I've gone back to the other one as I know it's a lot thinner and feels better in my hand and doesn't bow and distort the edges of the front screen. Shame I really wanted to like this case, it's way too big and essentially defeats the whole purpose of having a skinny phone. Others seem to manage it better.

The case certainly protects well. It also striking and nicely made. As expected, it turns the phone into a chonk.

Good protection without turning your Fold into a brick I’ve tried a few Fold 6 cases, and this is one of the few that actually fits right. The hinge guard works, it closes flat, and the buttons feel great. I’ve dropped it twice already (desk height and waist level), and the phone came out untouched. It does add some weight, and the back is slick, so it’s not the grippiest. No S Pen holder either. But the clear back still looks sharp and hasn’t yellowed after a few weeks. Bottom line: solid everyday protection that doesn’t ruin the look of your Fold. Just don’t expect tank-level toughness.
