21 Crocheted Tanks + Tunics: Stylish Designs for Every Occasion

update: I still like the book but I am having a very hard time finding the yarn! Its rather lazy and tells you to just look up a substitute on yarnsub. Here's where the fun starts... Unfortunately, the suggestions are mostly luxury fiber or more costly just because. So I'm kind of bummed.I am so happy to find a book with pretty much basic patterns in it that could easily be altered if I don't like just one part of the design. I'm not a complete beginner, fresh off the block, but I cannot design or create arm holes on my own (believe me, I've tried... A lot haha)Also, in my opinion, there is at least one style for younger as well as older people. I recently purchased a sweater pattern book and while the designs were cute, I don't feel comfortable wearing styles with cut-out backs or one, or no shoulders. As far as I recall, there's only one pattern in this tank and tunic book that would be considered as such because it has a cross style back (not just the straps. Hrm not sure how to explain it)I've chosen 5 definite makes and one maybe that I'd like to make already. I just wish there were charts to go with the written instructions, but perhaps that keeps it simpler when you are just starting out. Also, I think I am going to have to look up substitutions online for most of the yarns because I haven't been able to find them in stock at a reasonable price.Overall, I recommend this book.

I have been crocheting since I was ten years old, I am now in my 70's. I wanted to update my summer tops. I have been looking modest, stylish,Tops. I also want to knit and crochet cardigans to with the tank tops. This is the book for me! The new yarn on the market with self strpes, yarn cakes with different colors all look great in these patterns! Beginners can do these, as for easy. There are only two tops that are for young ladies that I will change to more modest stitches. Great book I recommend it!. I will be busy from now in March until I makes all of them!

This book has some nice tank tops, but it does not include stitch diagrams. I like about 1/3 of the tank tops in the book. My main reason for giving it a 3 stars is it's lack of stitch diagrams. Had I known that this book did not include them, I would not have purchased it.

If you want to crochet your own tanks, this book will give you lots of options. I've done one already, although I did change it (not because the pattern was bad). Most are easy for even beginners to do.

Great crochet patern book for tank tops. Has many styles, mostly using easy stitches like HDC. The book printing is high quality paper and photographs. There are written insructions and symbol charts.

I've made 6 of the tops so far and I am planning to make 3 more of the patterns. I absolutely love it. The instructions are clear and I haven't noticed any mistakes so far. I definitely recommend it. My summer wardrobe is filling up😀
