Overall very satisfied
A good monitor, have been using it for almost 3 years now.

Nice monitor but speakers are inadequate.
I purchased this to use with my Surface Pro 3 when I am at the desk. It connects to the SP3 by using a direct port to HDMI cable and this works well. The monitor screen is vibrant and looks good. However, I only gave it 4 stars because the built in speakers are really weak. I watch a fair amount of instructional and Youtube videos and if the room is absolutely quiet, the volume is still not that loud even at the highest level. If the TV is on, forget it. I attached a bluetooth speaker via the 3 mm head phone jack on the monitor to the bluetooth speaker and now the sound level is much more substantial. You could also hook up a pair of computer speakers. Either way, you will need one or the other if you want more than low level volume.

We bought this to bookend our other monitor, and not only was it slightly larger ( a plus!) it has speakers! Decent sound and a great price.

The audio is so low, even when set to ...
The audio is so low, even when set to the max of 100. I tried to reset in control panel, but it is already set to the max. Very disappointing, but it is Dell. No more dell for me.

I'm annoyed from the fact that the monitor is not ergonomic ...
Screen resolution and quality are OK.However, I'm annoyed from the fact that the monitor is not ergonomic (it is fixed-height) and it the monitor base can not be swapped with a 3rd party adjustable type. If you work long hours with computers and like to be seated comfortably, this particular Dell monitor may be not the best option.

Better than I expected
The price is great for what you get.

Great visuals, easy install, but traditional L/R speaker ports are defective.
The two ports for the traditional red /white, left/right speaker cables are misaligned in the computer housing. The ports are partially blocked by the plastic exterior. Looks like shoddy workmanship in this area.However the screen is great other wise: easy install, great visuals, etc. As most people use Blue tooth for sound these days, I expect it is not a deal breaker. But good to watch out for.
