Actually a Good Trailcam, Used Right
I read the other reviews and took note of the "tunnel vision" comment. But I liked the price, size, and mount (tree-mounting case it sits in). So I picked up one, liked it so much I bought three more for the ranch. I use them looking down trails and other narrow field-of-view spots, taking note of the tunnel vision comment. I found them excellent. Daytime pics are VERY nice, good color and detail!! And I've had them detect and snap daytime shots out past 100'. I was shocked, but clearly it's the deer at 100+' that triggered it!So I don't mind the more narrow view, and actually I didn't find it as bad as the previous 1-star commenter. I do find it limited in flash capability at night. You can see the deer, but the IR flash doesn't go far. They also use a visible red light to show it's taking pictures at night ... I prefer the more stealthy ones that don't give their positions away (there are thieves, afterall).Couple notes... The back case this sits in and is pulled from to access the SD card, if you drill holes in it you can screw it to the tree, then pop in the camera to cover the screws. Then to lock them in place I use the cable locks that came with some of my firearms (small padlock, ~12" long cable). Thread the cable through the cam cable slot and lock it, it locks the cam to the back case, which you screwed to the tree. Then just take a key for the padlock with you when it's time to swap the SD cards out! And I found out an interesting thing ... so far all this type padlock you get with firearms use the same key! So I dug into my old shooting boxes and came up with enough of them for all four of these Spypoint cams I have.Last point... If you're looking for a pure stealth (no night red light when shooting pics), good camo, and the best mix of pic quality and long range motion detection ... get the Moultrie M-990i 10MP No Glow Infrared Mini Game Camera. At my ranch I have three of these and three of the Spypoints. I use the Moultrie M-990i's out in the open areas and the Spypoints in the tighter spots. So don't shy away from these Spypoints. They are very good when used in their realm. And again, the daytime pics are amazingly good. I wish I could post some it's taken. You'd think I used a digital SLR!

Worst Ever
The media could not be loaded. Camera has tunnel vision. Very narrow field for pictures. At 8' away from camera the viewing width isn't even 6.5'. 15' video away from deer at night and cant tell if buck or not. Pretty much just see outline. Very poor lighting at night. Deer has to be less than 10' away to tell if buck and directly in front of camera. Cant get any worse. A $70 camera would be better.

Does not last
I bought this camera and was excited about using it. I used the camera twice where the performance was O.K. (nothing outstanding anyway). The third time I tried to use this camera it never worked. The camera would not turn on at all. I called Spypoint and the customer rep indicated that this is a common problem with this camera and that my options are, 1) either buy another model for a discounted price, or 2) send it to them and pay $60 - $75 for fixing plus shipping! In other words, pay close to 100 dollars to get it fixed. When I asked about the discounted cameras they have I realized that their discounted prices are higher than the regular prices in the stores. When I indicated to the rep that their prices are higher than the retailers, he indicated that they do so intentionally in order not to compete with their retailers. After weighing my options I decided to toss the camera away and buy another brand. I am happy with my new cameras and glad I tossed the Spypoint Tiny out of the window.
