"Unnatural Affinities"
A nice atmospheric little tale, this short story from 1911 was clearly an influence on H.P. Lovecraft who singled it out for praise in his seminal essay, Supernatural Horror in Literature (1927). The story made me eager to seek out more of Cobb's short stories.

Classic!
I really enjoyed reading this short story. One can see how it influenced later generations. It's a very fun read.

Not much to speak of, really
Didn't really care for this. Creature horror in the swampy Souths of the U.S. The story focuses on a strange creature which stalks the bayous. And that's about all I can recall, because I was just not interested. This might work better for avid Lovecraftian horror fans, but if you want a general type of horror, more about terror than strange creatures, it's not a good fit.I listened to the audio production from Pseudopod.
