I absolutely love Chapul Cricket powder. Its worth the money. I have bought from them before. I use it personally to make protein bars for running since Im allergic to most bars on the market. It makes my mind clearer and more energized, no joke. Long lasting. love it!!!!

Update! I ordered they chocolate and I love it!! I cannot express enough how happy I am with this product! High in protein, iron levels, and lots of other vitamins I’ve been looking for! This is my new favorite protein. I still do not at all like the pure so that part of my previous review is the same!I love the packaging! The bag is almost full not like other protein powders that send you a giant container that’s half empty! The taste is not one of my favorites for sure. Harder to cover up in my shakes and I’m not sure if I could drink this on it’s own. I ordered chocolate and hope this will be easier to drink.

Cut the flower in a coconut sugar cookie recipe with this (half of each), and they turned out great. My Entomology students loved them and I bet the powder would be even better added to a chocolate chip recipe, as it already adds a bit of a chocolate or slightly nutty flavor.

I've actually eaten real crickets before and this tastes nothing like them. Also the bag was sent in some ziplock bag, god knows who is reselling these. Amazon is becoming more and more full of bad quality items and resellers.

This stuff (Chapul - Pure) is pretty gross and doesn't dissolve very well. Putting less than half a serving in a 16oz blueberry smoothie actually ruined the blueberry smoothie. That said, I've found ONE way to get through this. Muscle Milk Intense Vanilla protein powder is *actually* seriously "Intense". So Intense, that I'm also never buying that again. Yet! So Intense, that it's the only thing that can make Chapul tolerable. The hit-by-a-bus vanilla flavor sufficiently masks the dirt-vomit flavor of Chapul. I have yet to find a way to make this Chapul dissolve properly though.

Great product! Just gotta get past the earthy smell ;). Seriously though, super consistent in texture. Would recommend.

Excellent flavor very clean product 100% finely ground. No surprises in this package! Mixing is hard in liquids but makes a wonderful flax and cricket flatbread with a lil fresh egg white. Wonderful and will order again!
