Eat it just in case it tries to eat you first
As a general rule, I don't like white chocolate. It's too sweet for my taste, which isn't helped by the overly generous amount that gets heaped upon confections. However, I might have to revise my opinion a bit. I bought this to make chocolate-covered pretzels, but that only accounted for the minority of use.My mom made them with bricks of candy melts when I was growing up and I always liked the vanilla better than the chocolate. Since those have loads of palm oil in them, I thought I'd try my hand with the real stuff. Working with chocolate is a pain, which is why I try not to do it if I can help it, but the siren song of coated pretzels were calling me. If you're like me and decide to just wing it without a candy thermometer knowing full well this won't turn out as planned, you'll probably wind up with improperly tempered chocolate that doesn't set at room temperature because you had it going too long at too high a temperature. That's okay because 1) it's still delicious and 2) pop the pretzels in the fridge and they'll harden just fine.I wish I could report on the shelf life of the pretzels made with this white chocolate, but they didn't come near as close to lasting that long. I was informed by the family that they had to all be eaten in case they tried to eat us in our sleep.

Very sweet; fresh tasting
I have to ageee with others that these are just too sweet. I think they are coated with powdered sugar and that may be to prevent clumping. But I like to eat white chocolate chips as is, (they rarely make it into a recipe) and they were actually too sweet for me. It’s a good sized bag , shipped fast and safe and very fresh, and maybe it wouldn’t be as sweet if I actually baked into something.

THATS A LOT OF CHOCOLATE
Although $30 is steep, the amount of chocolate is worth it, I was making chocolate hearts with these and ended up with a whole bowl left. Do not buy if you're trying to stop a snacking addiction, these little chunks will last for awhile. The bag is filled tot the brim.

Expired white chocolate.
I was so excited to get this bag of white chocolate from Olive Nation. It's supposed to be the Barry Callebaut White chocolate chunks, BUT, it's the Callebaut sticker with the last number in the year of the expiration date scraped off. The taste is rancid and unfortunately, I used 1 lb. of the 2 lb. bag in my white chocolate brownies. Those had to be tossed into the garbage. The expiration date appears to have been 11-2020. I can tell you that I will never, ever buy anything from OliveNation again. AND......THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE !!

They're too sweet for my taste--I much prefer the block Callebaut white--but ...
These are sweeter than Callebaut's white chocolate in blocks or callets, which have a higher percentage of cocoa butter to sugar (ranging from 26 to 33%). They're too sweet for my taste--I much prefer the block Callebaut white--but if you don't mind a very sweet white chocolate, this is a good deal.

had a slightly odd after taste to them
They did have a slightly strange after taste to them, but I scarfed down the whole bag. I think it may have just been the taste of the bag to be honest. And if you don't stop eating them then you don't get the after taste.Probably gained 5 pounds from the bag alone.I had planned to cook with them but I ended up eating them all as finger food.Again every once in a while there was that aftertaste, but I ate the bag so it obviously wasn't that bad.
