Effective!
After trying several different melatonin products for my anxiety-ridden Doberman, I gave this one a try. I absolutely love the results so far. On day one, I’ve noticed an instant change in her anxiety levels and she was able to settle down this evening. The chews are soft and have a slight odor, but my dobie loves the bacon flavor. Overall I am really happy with this product! Also after reading the reviews for this product I just want to add that there is a particular reviewer in here that promotes unnecessary fear by misapplying human medical standards and misunderstandings of viral transmission. The concerns that this reviewer raised are based on a fundamental misunderstanding of what “animal plasma” means in pet products and how disease transmission actually works. The plasma used in dog chews and pet foods is spray-dried animal plasma (a heat-processed food ingredient sourced from USDA-inspected animals). It is NOT transfusion-grade plasma, NOT injected, and is NOT biologically comparable to IV plasma used in humans. Additionally, this ingredient has been used in animal feed for decades. To clarify some of their misconceptions, blood-borne viruses such as HIV and hepatitis are species-specific and are destroyed by heat processing. They cannot be transmitted orally through digestion, even within the same species (they cannot survive the acidic environment). In the case of spray-drying, this method involves temperatures proven to inactivate bacteria and viruses, and there is no evidence in veterinary or food safety literature of dogs contracting blood-borne disease from spray-dried plasma. Overall, applying human IV plasma donor standards to a digested, heat-processed food ingredient is scientifically incorrect. By that logic, many common pet foods and treats containing animal blood derivatives would also be unsafe, which is false. Suggesting that this product poses a disease transmission risk with statements that are not supported by biology, virology, or decades of real-world use is harmful. That particular review spreads fear rather than evidence-based information and I just wanted to make you all aware of that. Please do your research! I hope you find this helpful for any product you look into for your furry friends and family!

Works great
I have a very active dog, and sometimes it’s hard for her to settle down, especially in the evenings or during car rides. We decided to try these chews, and honestly, they’ve made a noticeable difference. She’s still her energetic self, but these chews help take the edge off and make it easier for her to relax when needed. I like that they don’t make her drowsy or sluggish, just calmer and more balanced. Plus, she actually loves the taste, so giving them feels like a treat. Overall, I’d say these chews are a great option if you have an active or anxious pup who just needs a little help winding down.

My dog chows these down!
These work amazing! I have a 6 month old Malinois mix and his separation anxiety is bad. He never leaves my side. But I am training him slowly to be home alone for when I go to work. And these have worked wonders right away! It doesn’t knock him out or make him act different. It just helps slow his brain down where he will actually relax now & nap instead of always focusing on me. We do 2 hikes a day too…so this boy is very exercised and socialized as I am a dog trainer. He just needs a little assistance with his anxiety. And boy do I totally understand that as a human with anxiety 😬 . I am giving him 1-2 chews BID now. Note: my dog will eat most anything so he takes these no problem!! But I can’t stand the smell so I just don’t breathe through my nose when I open the container lol. Great product! But of course super pricey too… hence the 4 stars :(

SOLID GOLD!
It makes sense why they call these Solid Gold, it's literally what they are! I tried these after reading so many reviews, and also trying literally so many other things, but finally, something that works for my Pug. I have a spoiled AF 1 year old Pug who HATES the car. It doesn't matter if we're going to the dog park, beach, or 7 hours away, any amount of car time and he's a complete psycho in the car. He wines the entire time and not even wines, high pitch screeches that he never does any other place, besides the car. We just can't figure out why. We first tried benadryl, did nothing. Then we tried CBD, did nothing. Then we tried hard drugs from the vet, he faught them and stayed awake the entire time (6 hours), like a high school kid on ambien and we swear he was hallucinating, which made it even worse. I felt so bad, we never tried those again. We tried dramamine as I thought he could have motion sickness, as the whining wouldn't stop for 6 hours straight, until we got to wherever we were going. He also wouldn't sit still, he'd jump around and could never get comfy he wasn't even happy on my lap or in his carseat, or roaming around the backseat either, we've tried it all. We live in a remote town, so going out of town we're driving at least 6 hours. We felt so bad for him because something was obviously upsetting him and we couldn't figure it out! But, we figured it was just anxiety if the dramamine didn't help. This went on for a year, every time we'd leave town, we'd try something else, only for it not to work. We bought this during our most recent trip, when we tried dramamine on the way there and it didn't work. I saw these here, read reviews, and ordered them. On our last day being out of town, we gave him half a dose and went to Costco (which usually is very overwhelming for him as he gets anxious with lots of people and noises) and he was great and only barked once (which that guy looked sketchy to me, so I got it). Which gave us hope! We gave him his full dose the next day (about 30 minutes before we were leaving) and he was a complete angel in the car! He wasn't completely sleeping, but he was sitting on my lap, snuggling, and just relaxing! He closed his eyes a bit, but basically he was just CALM and at ease! I'm so thankful that he wasn't distressed seeming at all! Even when he was awake for a little bit, he just sat on my lap and looked out the window. He even ate some treats in the car, which he has always refused before (he's not a food driven pug, weird I know). The only thing is he woudn't eat these chews. But, that's not weird for him as he's incredibly picky with what he eats as his diet is all homemade human food. So, dog treats usually he won't even take and I dont really buy them. We had to shove it down his throat, but it was completely worth that in order to have him feeling good in the car. I can't wait to try this on our next trip out of town, which will be the real kicker as he always is 'better' on the way home (probably tired from vacation) versus leaving town. But, i have hope, I will update on that in a few months. THANK YOU!
