The Antser Ant-Proof Barrier is a means of keeping ants away from the Antser's top surface. It uses an internal water barrier to keep ants away.

Cats love it!
Works perfectly. Keeps the ants out of our cat’s food. One of my best cat purchases.

This works!!!
Using it in my kitchen to keep annoying ants out of my trash can. Placed my can on top and ant issues are gone! Placing soapy water in the tray ruins the ants day.

BEST feral feeder, but needs one tweak
I feed a community of TNRed cats and have had the worst problem with ants covering their bowls. I tried so many things (putting the bowl in a larger bowl full of water, putting it on a mat covered in water, raising the bowls) and each "solution" created its own set of problems. The reviews on this were good, so I decided to try it out. It's incredibly easy to set up and very easy to refill (I live on the coast where it's 100+ degrees). I've had it for a few months and have only had to refill it once. The *only* improvement I would suggest is to have a small clip or something to keep the top attached to the bottom. As soon as my cats are done eating, if there's even one piece of food left over, the possums come out and clumsily step on the antser to get to the bowls. They've knocked the top off quite a few times. That could be resolved by having some type of lock feature (though not *too* tight of a lock, because I enjoy the ease of taking the top off to put new water in).Overall, I'd buy this again, regardless of the price tag. I've had ants only once and that was when I knew I needed to refill. Otherwise, I enjoy watching them walk around the antser as if they're looking for David Bowie outside of the labyrinth.

Ants
I’m feeding two feral cats I inherited and was having problems with ants getting to the food before the cats. This works well. It’s sturdy and during the hotter days when the ants are the most active as long as you make sure no leaves or debris builds up on the sides that the ants can use to crawl up on top and you refill the soapy water it works great

The best for avoiding ants - preferred by the shelter I work for
The animal shelter I work for uses these, they get donations and recommended to me. I’ve had zero problems with ants, plus they are a good size to keep any food from going on the floor and easy to clean. I use for my cats. Be sure to follow directions adding a little dish soap to the water under the top tray.

Really liked it
The product works after a week. I had 2 per feeders one with this and one without and I could clearly see the difference.I gave a 4 given the price is steep . The product is not as complex to have a steep price That said worth paying the price .

Expensive and worth it
All summer ants thrive. Five inch wide paths twice a day. Enter the Antser in early October. Keeping it filled with very soapy water. Now maybe a couple of dozen ants wander aimlessly, searching for food.Mucho gratitude to the makers of Antser!

Absolutely effective
I have an unending Argentine Ant problem that has persisted for months. They come for my cat food - wet or dry, they’ll take either - and infest it by the hundreds, leaving my poor cats hungry all day until I get home. This thing solved that problem for me. I still find trails of ants every few days, but they have completely given up on the cat food, as they can never reach it. Worth every penny.
