Protects the arms from thorns when mountain biking
Only 3 stars as there getting plucked by the thorns but they do provide good protection, not sure how long they will stand up to thorns

Decent enough but not so good for thorn penetration
I'll definitely use these but they don't stop thorn penetration.. they do prevent scratching though

For carrying bricks and blocks
Roll up my sleeves, wear these and I can now carry a pile of bricks, blocks or stone without cutting my forearms or ripping my shirt sleeves. They survived the washing machine and still fit and still protect.
