Another Meghan Quinn banger!!! IMO whatever Meghan Quinn writes I will read it and love it.Vacation Wars is no different. The story follows Tessa and Myles. Tessa's family vacations at Myle's family resort, in Greece, every summer. They both have kind of admired each other from afar for years with very little interaction. Minus that one time that Tessa called Myle's lips luxurious and then he disappeared for 7 years!?!?Tessa is back at the resort in Greece for a gals trip before her sister's wedding. Her sister and their 2 friends decide to force Tessa to fulfill a contract that they filled out in HS. Which means Tessa is forced to forfeit her love life to her sister and friends as she is single and 30. They literally have no chill and I feel like they were trying to embarrass her more than help her. She will do anything to get out of these tragic set ups they’re throwing her way. Even if it means teaming up with the man she’s had a crush on since she was a child, oh yeah Myles is back. :-)Myles needs a distraction and the awkward, gorgeous girl, that he has been crushing on for years, is right in front of him. While helping her in the Vacation Wars, he’s dealing with his fallout with his dad and the struggles of trying to find his foot in the family business.The way Myles just wanted to be there and help Tessa in her wild, crazy war against her sister and friends was amazing and made me melt. He also had been pining after her for so long and was just happy to be spending time with her, ugh I love him. Them finding their way to each other was so sweet. They’re a perfect match. Tessa is looking forward to a girl’s trip with her twin sister and their two best friends to Greece, the place which holds so many wonderful childhood memories including her first crush even if she was too uncomfortable to act upon it. It has been years since she has been there when he was, so she didn’t expect to see him again or that the feelings she had for him are stronger than ever.Myles has been living in NY while he studied hotel management and has recently returned to Greece to help his father with the family resort. When he sees Tessa, the sparks fly but not only are they battling the fact that he lives in Greece, and she lives in NY but lots of family turmoil as well.Even though her sister did everything she could to derail the relationship between Tessa and Myles which caused some heartbreak along the way she did redeem herself in the end. Myles was the perfect mix of sweet and swoony and helps Tessa realize what will truly bring her happiness. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out all the different aspects of the story and the characters.

It was great.2nd- Why are they 30yrs old and acting like they are teens?Okay with that out of the way.We have 2 teens who have had a crush on each other for years and they never said anything about it. Tessa's twin sister is getting married and decided to go to Greece (Family vacation home where she kept seeing her crush) 2 wks early to have some "girl time" with her other 2 girlfriends.I seriously love Myles. He is so sweet and really does everything right when it comes to Tessa. He sees no faults even though she can babble on and on when she is nervous or uncomfortable. The story is long but it has to be since it hasa lot of layers they have to go through.1st- Tessa and Myles decided to give each other a try but keep it a secret.2nd- Tessa can't stay in Greece to be with Myles since she has to be with her sister in NY & Myles can't leave his Baba (his father-I love this nickname) alone and their new proj.3rd- They started a long distance relationship which lasted over a year & Tessa was just hurting being away for Myles and pretty much avoided him.4th-Tessa decided to move back to Greece to be with Myles. I love this story

There are vacation flings, but then, there's what Tessa and Myles have--history. These two aren't exactly strangers who decide to engage in something temporary while she's in Greece, although non-strangers can engage in the same thing as well, FYI. I liked these two a lot, so naturally, I was cheering them on as they stumbled and struggled with their respective hang-ups and burdens, all while falling in love with each other. I confess that I didn't have any sort of warm and fuzzy feelings towards Roxane and the rest of the girl gang. They're proof that immaturity exists even when you're supposedly well into your adulthood. There's also a difference being well-meaning and mean-spirited, but hey, maybe I'm naïve in thinking that women should uplift other women. Thankfully, the romance between Tessa and Myles won me over, and if Greece wasn't already on my travel bucket list, Vacation Wars would have inspired me to add it immediately. Four stars.

This was my first Meghan Quinn book and clearly I have been missing out. I absolutely loved vacation wars. I thought it was so cute, Tessa so awkward but yet so unapologetically herself and I loved that about her. Her and Myles had been crushing on each other for years always waiting for their time back at the resort even if it was just stolen glances and secret crushing. Until Tessa is there for her sisters wedding and Myles is back after seven years. During this time Tessa finds a friend in Myles when her friends and sister aren’t being so kind. Deciding to finally stand up for herself this is how the vacation wars start. The question is what happens with Tessa’s relationships once it’s time to go back home.

Meghan creates the most lovable characters and sexiest men. This is another great storyline that gets you hooked and makes you laugh out loud and cry ugly tears. Now I need to book a trip to Greece after feeling like I was there in this story.

I loved this book! It had humour, love, romance, and a little heartbreak. I loved Myles and Tessa and their relationship. How it grew, from when they first met as kids to being fully grown adults. Tessa's awkwardness had me laughing out loud so many times. She definitely made you connect with her character because she was real. She was nervous, babbling, awkward, everything that you feel when you have a crush! Myles was so lovely, though. He was definitely the man you'd want, and how he reacted to her was perfect! There were many ups and downs, Tessa's relationships with her sister and friends were very rocky and sometimes very explosive, but I loved how it ended. It was just perfect! It was a fantastic book that had me laughing and smiling and totally got me out of my book funk! Highly recommend this read!

OMG! Meghan Quinn has done it again.You had me in the prologue, already rolling around laughing. How on earth does she do it every time? Each book has exceptional characters, cracking storylines, plenty of laughter and emotion. The reader is left begging for more.So many highlights, The Bulge, The Contract, luxurious lipsTessa is just the funniest, I need her and the girls to be my friendsThis is just the best story, I could not put it down. Loved loved loved it.

I’m always highly entertained when I read a Meghan Quinn novel and this was no different. I listened to this on audio in my car and while in my office at work and every time someone walked past I had to biggest grin on my face.I loved the premise of this book. It was like a gated mates troupe but with out all the paranormal/fantasy.I was just good old heart binding love.

What a beautiful read. Myles and Tessa’s journey was a fantastic read. I just love this story. And the antics these two pulled off was classic.
