Works well. Can program more than one function to one button.
Great device and well-worth it for the Black Friday ~$20 priceYou can program more than one function to one button, for example, Windows Key+Print Screen. Most keyboards require you to press a "function" key to control media, which is unacceptable. Now I can hit one button to make the volume go up or down, play/pause, skip track, etc.Cons.The color setting and possibly other programming functions are buggy but you can keep trying. After programming it, don't forget to hit the "save settings" button or all of your settings are lost.I wish the keys were clear and you could print an image for the inside that would light up. I ordered some transparent X-keys brand that should work, though they add $7 to the cost. But the backlighting on this device works about as well as it shows in the picture, with the solid keys. And you have to memorize what button does what.

Good product, software needs more translation
tl;dr they need to finish translating the software UI, but the tool doesn't appear to be a security concern and can run offline / in a VM if you're concerned. Hardware is fine. The keyboard quality itself is fine, has high-friction pads on the bottom so it's a good balance of adjustable and stationary. Keys and lighting are fun and easy to mess around with. The software works by opening command prompt to run a tiny little website server on your computer, then opens a web browser to interact with it. It runs without internet access at all and the performance impact is negligible. After you're done, you need to make sure you close the command prompt so it's not just hangin' out doing nothing. I work an IT job where I look for threats regularly, and I have not observed this software attempting to connect to an external IP at all, only listens for connections. I won't say it's absolutely 100% safe, but I did not observe anything concerning. Run in a VM with device access if you're really wary. The major drawback is that some of the menu options are in Chinese. I'm docking a star so they'll hopefully do another pass and finish the translation. If you have a translation addon installed in your browser to translate stuff without the internet, then you can use that if you want to fully use this tool offline. Online, you can translate the text very easily, but it's still a pain.

OIK,it came in. I haven't even gotten the product yet, and Amazon wants me to rate it.
Update. The device came in and works well. A small piece of paper in the package has the link to the software. Microsoft objected and I had to tell it to load anyway. I found the software easy to use. I changed the default keys to the Function keys and tested it in Digital Combat Simulator, which uses the FN keys. They worked perfectly. The software allows you to change the keys in many ways, including writing macros. There are four (4) layers of key programming, although I don't know how to change from on layer to another. I just needed one layer.I am happy with the device and recommend it to anyone looking for 12 custom keys that can be used in many ways.Maybe, after I get the dang thing I will an honest rating. I keep getting emails saying, "It's coming soon." But, no product. So much for the vaulted two-day delivery. Now, I get this email wanting me to rate a product that hasn't arrive after almost a week.

Requires CH Website For Setup.
Requires registration with a Chinese website to sync and program the keyboard. This would have been a great product, however... I have not found a way to program the keyboard locally, it reqyires the website to setup and program which is just a great way to create a backdoor directly into your pc. There is no reason I should have to sync my keyboard with a website, unless the goal capture data or setup a remote callback. Basically a RAT, otherwise known as a trojan.I put this on the same level as finding a random USB on the ground and sticking it in my computer. Not happening.

Bargain, decent features!
LOVE IT! These folks rock and I am so grateful they made this board. Its perfect to replace the prior keyboard model I had and I was able to pop on the cherry switch keys. I might even epoxy this to the keyboard, but its just super helpful and I can't say enough positive things about it. I wish I spoke Chinese but its pretty easy to follow the few missing items. Even the lighting has a very large number of options for a product of this price point. I just got the board a few hours ago and sorted some remaps with AHK and for the record for anyone interested, I was able to use mostly off keyboard keys, and avoided almost all of the F13-F24s (as you may want to reserve them for other purposes). After a few scancode remaps in AutoHotkey, it stepped into the place of my no longer made keyboard nicely. I think I am about to buy a few more. Updated review 5-6-2023 to add proof that multiple devices are usable!
