Literally looks just like the other samurai swords I have in my home. My 10 year old son knows he can't play with them because they have real blades but this was an amazing Christmas surprise for him. I literally have to reason with him to leave it at home when he has to go out in public lol. It's very lightweight yet sturdy-ish. If I had one criticism is that the paint they used on the blade is very cheap and comes off easily.
