Shock Doctor Ultra Knit Ankle Brace W/Figure 6 Strap & Stays

I had a moderately sprained (self diagnosed) ankle and wanted to get back to playing 7v7 soccer 2 months later. I needed support mostly to inhibit inversion/eversion. This brace does a pretty good job at that. It allows for a great deal of dorsal and plantar flexion, which is good for me but if you would like support in that way this brace isn’t for you. I feel secure when I’m playing. It’s a very tight fit so if you have difficulty with plantar flexion this will be hard to get on/off. Overall I’m happy with this brace.

Helped to stop from rolling ankles during basketball

I was transitioning out of a boot after I broke my foot and just needed something to stabilize my foot/ankle since it was kind of floppy and weak after the whole ordeal. This has provided good support while I get my strength back up. My one gripe is that I'm a women's size 8 and the small was too small so I had to exchange it for a medium. At first I still found it a bit difficult to remove, but I discovered that if you pull the heel first it comes off just fine

I normally wear a size 6.5 in shoe and I was hoping the small would work but it was too small for even my good ankle. I broke my ankle and am ready to graduate from the boot, however the brace is way too small and kid of difficult to put on.

Was good for my ankle fracture post op recovery just sizing on website/page was confusing different sizes then what the box says. It’s great for recovery and getting ankle flexibility back . Just enough support but not too much.

I purchased this item because I have to wear a ankle brace when I’m active but I needed a slim fitting brace to fit in my cleat. This was very helpful because I have the cleats that have socks on them and this could fit inside of the shoe without any discomfort. It fits like a socks but it’s a little challenging taking it back off because when it’s brand new it fits literally like a glove.

This is very difficult to get on if you are recovering from a serious ankle injury. I just got out of a boot & the orthopedic recommended this brace rather than my insurance charging me $100 for a similar version. It's a great brace once it's on... but getting it on & off is difficult if you can't point your toes. There's plastic inserts sewn into the sides (not too thick) feels like a nice and tight wrapped ankle.

I am just coming out of a full boot from an ankle/foot injury where I tore most of the ligaments and tendons in my ankle. I have been shopping for an ankle brace that is super-supportive, but comfy, and have tried at least 5 others from Amazon, which have all been returned. I wear a size 8 shoe, but have thick ankles (about 9.25 inches around at my ankle bones), so all of the other braces were too tight or bunchy at the ankle for me. They were also bulky and really noisy. But this brace is completely different, and is very comfortable! The sock part is knit, so it stretches! Perfect for my think ankles. The straps are thick and have slip-resistant lines on them that keep the brace straps in place and tight. And the best part is that it actually fits well in a shoe. I am so glad I took a chance on this one!

Ordered this to help Achilles tendinitis. The ankle strap itself is as described and it seems you help. Does keep ankle pretty secure. Only issue I have is that the sizing shown on amazon is only by foot size.,but the box that the brace comes in has a different way of measuring for size. Overall, so far I'm satisfied and would recommend...
