If I could I would maybe give this product half a star rating Not a full 1 star rating. At first I was excited hoping to at least deter the frequent visits from the local wildlife (deer, racoons, rabbits, cats & squirrels) from eating everything in my yard & my porch! I followed all the directions as stated in instructions & I was determined to make this work. I purchased it in May n gave it a try. Its now Dec and it would not detect anything type of animals!! But when I would walk up to it then I would get a weak sounding Hummm & maybe a flash for 30 sec to 1 minute Dont waist your money I was very disappointed in this product..... The company should give refunds for at least 6months because it takes time a lot of time to find a place to put it then wait to see if it works! And it Dont....but I tried

From another neighbor, who also had a cat problem, I had heard about these type of solar, install it and forget it devices, so when I saw this available I went ahead and ordered it. I was having a problem with a different neighbor's cat coming over and pooping in my pristine unadulterated backyard grass for my family's feet. What made matters worse is that the cat moved into a shaded area and would not leave in the daytime. This made it difficult when my daughter wanted to play in the backyard or I go back there to do yard work and it would hiss, and try to lunge at us, spreading it's paw claws. So, I placed this in backyard right next to it's comfort spot at night when it was not there and I have yet to see the cat again. I wish the strobe light was a real strobe light bright and white, and I can't really hear the alarm, but I'm sure it is at a frequency that animals can only really hear.If the cat was nice it would have been different. Also cleaning that cat fecal matter after my sprinklers hit it at night was seriously stinky and Mc Nasty the next day. Problem solved.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a lot of deer that come up to my front flower bed and eat my plants, so I figured I would give this a try. I installed this right at the corner of my sidewalk in order to maximize coverage and it was about 15 feet away from my hedges. Well as you can see in the video when a deer was only about 5 feet away it still did not alarm. I later moved it further into my flower bed and I have not noticed as much damage to my plants so I am assuming it is working.Overall I think it is effective, however the range is somewhat limited at only a few feet. If you have a small area this will work well, but otherwise plan on having several.

This is the third device of this type that I have had, The first two were sent back because they did not work as advertised. When I saw these I thought I will give it one more try. These have all the features I wanted unlike the other two brands. Has solar and usb power for when the sun don't shine. , 360 coverage, 3 speakers and 3 sensors. They can work day and night but I only use them for night because we are in the yard in day time. We are using them to keep animals out of our yard where we have landscape, mostly for deer who do the most damage. So far they seem to be working. The first three nights we had them triggered by deer. Since not. Don;t know how long they will deter them but for now they work. The siren can be heard by humans or can be set to ulta high frequency which we can;t hear but animals can. I will set them to that if they stop detering them.

I put this solar alarm at the edge of my lawn because my neighbor’s dog seems to prefer my yard to his own. It is just loud enough to startle it make to its own home. It would be nice to be able to change the sounds so animals don’t become accustomed to the same sound, but it has worked great so far.

The product did not work on wild rabbits in boulder county colorado.In fact the rabbits seemed to like the flashing lights.
