Very good item to check your gold and silver

In a work inviorment that demands constant movement, misshaps, multiple hands touching and moving the scale, holding it upside down, and occasionally placing heavy items on it while not in use, this scale is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.The reliability and durability is unreal. So far I had to calibrate it once (1).FYI - It does require a (500g) Weight in order to calibrate.

This would have been a 5 star except for the lack of a calibration weight. Yes, it gives a number, in a lot of different measurements but, is it correct? Luckily I have a calibrated weight set…

This scale has a rugged feel to it that I like. The display I brightly lit and easy to read. I’ve had other scales, but this one has a feel of quality that leads me to believe that it will last longer than those that I’ve had.

This did not measure grams bc it didn't work

only gripe is the hinges are a little loose,meaning that section of the scale should be as goodas the rest of the scale, something to think about

This scale is not 0.1g accurate! For example...I have a 2019 BU American Silver Eagle coin that weighs 31.180g on a more accurate scale. Unfortunately, on the TUFF-1000-I-RD Digital Mini Scale it reads as 31.3g ( 0.1g over the actual weight. I'm not sure if it measures inaccurately because it was damaged in shipment, or because it is defective. I'm returning it to Amazon, and re-ordering. I will keeping the 500g calibration weight to use with it's replacement. Even with fresh batteries I got in-accurate results. Otherwise, this scale is really nice, and appears to be durable.
