Effective!
Never thought that I would spend nearly $50 on brake pads but these are worth it. Compared to the generic pads that came with my carbon wheels, these pads stop way better. They are also much quieter. My wheels have basalt coating on the brake tracks. They are wearing well so far and I want to keep things in good shape as long as possible. These pads are confidence inspiring.

I wasn't a believer
Ok, I purchased these with reluctance since they cost so much money. Yes, they are too expensive. But I have to say that my carbon wheels used to make a LOUD noise when braking. The noise is gone with these pads. I don't know how long they will last but hopefully more than 5 thousand miles. So far after two 40 + mile rides they've been very quiet.

SwissStop is a great option for Carbon rim brakes
The SwissStop FlashPro Black Prince Brake Pad exceeded all my expectations and left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I installed these brake pads, I noticed an immediate improvement in braking performance from other brake pads. The Black Prince pads delivered exceptional stopping power. They provided a reassuring sense of control and responsiveness, allowing me to brake confidently in various weather conditions. One standout feature of the Black Prince brake pads is their modulation. I found it easy to fine-tune the braking force, allowing me to maintain stability and avoid sudden jolts, especially during high-speed descents.Durability is a crucial aspect of any brake pad, and the Black Prince pads do not disappoint. Compared to their Yellow pad, they stay supple and effective for thousands of additional miles. While these brake pads come at a slightly higher price point, their outstanding performance and extended lifespan more than justify the investment. My only complaint was that my shipment came with only 3 mounting screws when I needed 4.

Best Pads Ever!
I only run carbon wheels on my bikes. I've tried many different pads to see which served me the best. Swiss Stop yellow pads were the first. They were nice, but they got loud with lots of braking on long grades. After that, I tried several different pads and dealt with the same issue. They also wore out significantly faster than Swissstop yellow pads. As I was about to give up, someone recommended Reynolds Cryo Blue pads. They braked better than any pad I had tried before, plus they were quiet...I mean really quiet. However, they still wore out pretty fast.Swissstop hyped up the Black Prince brakes like they were the biz. So I decided to try them with some skepticism. I have to say these are the best pads I have ever used. Swissstop delivered on their claims. These are hands down the best pads I've ever used. Good wear life, quiet even with a lot of hard braking, and reliable in every condition I've thrown at them. I will only use these now, and highly recommend them. They aren't inexpensive, but no quality carbon pad is.

Not enough braking power & High pitch sqeaking noise
On flat roads, these brakes work great and have zero noise. But when you descend on over 10% slope, these pads don't have enough braking power and starting to produce high pitch noise. ( I am only 61kg and my bike is only 8kg. )I just don't have the confidence to brake like I used to, and is forced to keep a slower speed through out the descend due to the lack of braking power. Even the OEM brake pads that comes with the rim have greater stopping power (though it is noisy). The carbon rims (FAR Sports S4) I use have a ceramic brake surface, I wonder if thats the reason. Considering the price, I am a little disappointed, but maybe thats just the cons of carbon rims :(

Phenomenal
Awesome stopping power vs cork brake pads. I have use these pads since spring and have used them in the rain multiple decent and I feel, just as secure as having regular aluminum wheels. The brake compound do seem to wear a bit faster than some other brake pads, but these will surely last me through this riding season. I have found that the best thing about having these pads is that you will spend less time cleaning brake residue off your carbon wheels.
