Nunn Bush Men's Victor

I have trouble finding shoes that fit comfortably due to my wide feet, high instep, and high arch, so I thought I'd try these as they are available in 2E and 3E widths. As others have noted, the Nunn Bush Mens Victor Oxford tends to be larger than the indicated size. I normally wear size 11 3E, so that's what I ordered initially. They were huge, so I exchanged them for 10.5 3E, which is still a little large. I've worn them outside, so I can't exchange them, otherwise I'd be tempted to try a 2E, and maybe a size 10. It's unusual to find a shoe that is too wide for me!Even though the 10.5 3E is slightly large, these are the most comfortable shoes I've had on my feet in a long time. They are very light weight, which is good, but the downside is that the soles are a little thin; not so comfortable walking on rough ground, but they're great for indoors, sidewalks, etc.

Purchased for son to wear to school.Pros: Comfortable and flexible.Cons: Flawed design --has metal strip inside sole that causes a hole in the middle of the sole where the front of the shoe bends (just under the instep).In less than 3 months of alternate day use, there was a hole in the sole of the shoe. It was caused by the metal strip inside the sole of the shoe. Basically, the front edge of the metal strip pierced through the rubber sole from inside the shoe. The leather upper portion of the shoe is fine as the shoe was gently used. However, the shoe is unwearable as metal strip juts out a little from the middle of the sole and water seeps in if you walk on the street even with a little water on it.

I am replacing some old Rockports. The Nunn Bush looks far nicer with soft but polished leather. It seemed comfortable (although I'd prefer a bit more arch support). But it was huge on my foot.I take a fairly standard size 9 Medium (US) and this felt like at least a 9.5 Wide - too wide and too long.Minus 1 star for not being true to size.Also note that while returning the shoe was easy, the Amazon shoe department does not allow you to exchange the shoe for another size. I don't know if this is true for all Amazon sold shoes or just for Nunn Bush or just for this particular shoe but it's an annoyance.

I have owned Nunn Bush shoes before so I decided when I was in the shoe market to give this pair a try. I will admit the color I picked is a little darker than I thought it would be, however it still works. As for comfort they are pretty comfortable although with any new shoe there is a small break in period.So for me they work well and I am glad I chose them. Since I have only owned them for a short period, at the time of this review, I can't speak to durability. I will say from my last Nunn Bush experience that this brand seems to hold up fairly well. Not quite as well as say Rockports but still acceptable.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The upper is very soft but the leather is still durable.These shoes run very large. I went down from a US size 10 to a size 9, and they are still comfortably roomy without being loose. The shoe runs wider than most, which is great for me.The brown nubuck looks great and is almost pristine even after months of frequent wear.

I am on my feet 11+ hours a day working a fast paced retail job and it is incredibly difficult to find shoes that don't ware out in two months or turn out unbearably uncomfortable. These shoes are perfect so far, fit comfortably all day, professional and show no signs of wear or failure where I find most to have issues e.g. Sole stitching and tread. Buying a back up pair next month like I said hard to find good shoes!

I must have odd shaped feet but I need a wide shoe for comfort. Have tried several brands, some almost twice the price but none beat Nunn Bush, so to speak. I went ahead and ordered this in Brown as well. How long will they last? Who knows but as of today they are my most comfortable dress footwear.

I probably missed it but I bought these not realizing that they were non slip. They are non slip soles which is great because that is what I needed. They are comfortable, lightweight, and seem to be well built. I have not had them long enough to say anything about durability but I'm very pleased with them so far.
