I let my kids choose the type of advent calendar they want each year and my youngest chose this. He's been really into collecting rocks and crystals lately. I didn't have high expectations but this was fantastic. It came with a bag to keep all the crystals in, a magnifying glass, keychain to add crystals to and even a chart on the package to match the crystal to and read about it. We loved opening this each day.

Much better than I had expected. Some of the reviews I read were not very positive, but the kits I received were awesome and the 10 and 8 year old boys really liked them, read the information included, and learned a great deal. I recommend them to other pre-teens--boys or girls.

My mom loved it. She was just starting out wirh collecting and learning about chrystals so this was a fun beginners thing for her.

The rocks in this set are great! I believe at least one of the rocks are miss named. Leopard jasper/Dalmatian jasper. The days are difficult to open and at times you end up opening more than one day. Day 22 had been open since about day 10. By day 20 we just took them all out because all the days were open anyway. Also the plastic tray is clear so you can see through to the neighboring rocks once you open one of course that didn’t matter to much since the flaps were half open anyway especially toward the end of the month.

I purchased this for myself and my husband and I are thoroughly enjoying opening every day. The quality of the gemstones and crystals is very impressive. And the description of each one is very informative. I highly recommend this, for any time.

I bought this for my 5yr old son (he loves rocks) and this box had such a great selection of rocks and crystals he absolutely LOVES it! Great product!

My 12 year old is really into rocks, gems and crystals. She annoyed me so I told her I'd get her a box of Rocks for Christmas. So her advent calendar was this. We loved it all the peices came with a nice description and they even had a little bag you can can store them in. If anyone's kids like this type of thing I highly recommend

My 8yr old is really into rocks and gems. This was a perfect advent calendar for her. Everyday she get super excited on what she’ll uncover. I would 100% buy again.

My daughter recieved one of these at the beginning of December. She loved seeing the rocks each day and learning a little more about each one. We didn't have any duplicates and she loved that there was a bracelet and a necklace as well.
