Ottomanson Multi Grip Ribbed Carpet Protector Runner Rug, 26" X 10', Clear

This product is so godawful, I stopped assembling a desk just to write a review of how phenomenally terrible this thing is. When I got it, it wasn't rolled up round. It was angular, and that probably wouldn't matter except for the fact that this piece of trash runner is thinner than a fitted sheet. It warps and deforms under the weight of an unladen fold-up picnic table. This thing will NEVER be straight.This is not a rug runner, it is a BUMPY PLASTIC TABLECLOTH. It is quite possibly the worst thing I've ever purchased on Amazon. Order this and it'll go straight from the package into the recycle bin.

For the price, this is a very good product. It's not too thick, and just thin enough to cut into smaller-needed sections. This has saved my carpet from the specific few areas where my cats were tearing up handfulls of carpet strands. Stopped my cats' damage immediately.

I absolutely love the look of this runner. The color is slightly darker than pictured. From the picture in the description I thought it would be slightly transparent, which is why I ordered it, but it’s not, it’s quite dark. All in all, it’s still pretty. The only con is it doesn't grip my carpet well. It would probably be better if the "grippers" were more pointed instead of round. Had new carpet installed last month and it just doesn't grip. We're always adjusting it because it tends to bunch up in the middle. Improve on that and it would be perfect.*Update as of 9/3/20* I ended up returning this. It just bunched up too much. I thought the more people walked on it the more it would grip the carpet but that wasn’t the case. Also one end curled under. Cut a thin slice off then it curled under again. Other than that it is very pretty though.

Purvhased black. Exactly as expected. Its super long! It can be cut but i didnt cut mines. Places under breakfast nook in apartment, still have an extra 3 feet of runner. Literally almost the same length as my 8 by 10 rug. Comes with carget grooves on bottom but easy and lightweight for moving

I didn't buy this for a carpet but rather to keep my cat from peeing in certain areas of the house. I thought for sure keeping it bumpy side up would be a deterrent. It wasn't. All of my cats walk right across this, and the one I have trouble with peeing where she shouldn't, peed right on it. It absorbed the smell and I had to toss it. So this product lasted about 3 days in my house. I know I wasn't using it for what it was meant for, but I noticed others are buying this as a pet deterrent, so I wanted to leave a review. The nubs on the underside just aren't high or sharp enough to prevent a cat from walking on it.

I was so disappointed after using this runner. I’d refund it if it were worth the hassle of packaging and shipping it. The bottom of the runner doesn’t have the sharp teeth needed for carpet. They are rounded; therefore, they are pointless. I have another runner which was the same price and it is so much better. It’s the one in the pic with the sharp teeth. I bought that off of amazon too, like a year ago. I honestly don’t understand how anyone using this on any kind of carpet can give it a rating higher than a 1. Just save your time and money. I don’t even have any kids and this runner doesn’t stay in place. When My 7 pound Yorkie walks on this, it moves.

What a waste of money. Yeah, there are ribs, but they don't grip the carpet whatsoever. If I had a dollar for every area that curled up, besides a REALLY bad job of curling at the end of the runner, I'd have enough money to buy a good one. Do not waste your money on this. Next time I need a clear runner mat, I am going to a local hardware store. Don't buy this.

It's just what I needed. I had purchased a beautiful runner a few months ago and my cat seemed to think it was a scratch pad. So I put an old sheet over it which worked but untidy and had to keep washing it. This is perfect she doesn't go near it and I just wipe it down. I quickly lift it if I have visitors which are none right now because of covid ugh!
