I had been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for a few years. I tried massage and acupuncture therapy. But they just temporarily mitigates the pains. The pains come back two days after the therapy.My coworker recommended this product to me. It works amazingly. I use it twice a day and 5 minutes each time. I don’t feel the pain anymore.It’s convenient. When I feel uncomfortable on my neck or shoulder, I use it right away instead of making an appointment with my therapist.I highly recommend this product.

I got this on the recommendation of my chiropractor. So far it has helped realign my neck. But I would highly recommend that you talk to a doctor or chiropractor or physical therapist about the proper use for your situation and not go by the picture or directions on the packaging. And my situation I have to do the placement different than it shows.

Made in USA, the Apex Cervical Orthosis is adjustable in height by 1" increments. The bottom of the firm, foam block with an angled top to fit underneath the user's shoulders and neck, has two sections that can be removed. The height of the foam can be 2.5" high, 3.5" high or 4.5" high.I am a 5'6" tall, 165-pound female who has a bulging disc at C4. I purchased this block to use to encourage my neck to decompress, bringing back essential blood flow and hopefully relieving some of the discomfort and damage in this area of my spine. The block is indeed 'firm' with little or no give, so it does not feel cozy or squishy in any way. Highly unlikely that with regular use it will break down at all.The directions for use of this product indicate the importance of using it under the direction of a professional. I am currently under the care of a doctor for my spine and neck issues. I did ask him about this, and he said "If it makes you feel better, but it may hurt at first."NOTE: The directions also indicate it's recommended you use this product only for 2 minutes the first few times, and then follow with a cool pack on your neck. Working up to a 20-minute session of use. There is also mention of rolling off of it versus sitting straight up after use.I am going to plan on using this twice a day for 2-3 minutes each day for a week before increasing the time. I am somewhat pained after using it the first two times, followed by the recommended cold pack. I do think individual results may vary, but it definitely works as promised and does place your neck and shoulders in the proper place for a stretch if you have the height correctly adjusted. (I took out the bottom 1" slab.)Overall, a good product and one I'd recommend to others with similar issues. Helped relieve pain in neck

Was recommended by my chiropractor, and it works. It’s not supposed to be super comfortable. The key is to start with a short period (from 20 sec or so) and lengthen the time as you get used to it. You’re not supposed to lie on it for too long.The durability is also not a problem for me. 110lbs and 170lbs people have been using it, but it looks the same:)

I get migraines with some neck stress, and I've experimented with several different kinds of devices. This one works. It relieves some neck stress, applies needed pressure to some areas, and helps adjust the cervical spine. Everyone is different though, so what works and what you find acceptably comfortable is a personal preference. This will do the job though and the product itself is fine. A person just has to try product to see what works. I would recommend this product.
