Little bowl which fits inside large food processor bowl. Works well. Durable, well designed.

While I wish they included this accessory with the original package, I was happy to find Amazon had it in stock. It was the same price no matter where I looked so it was great to just have it delivered to my door quickly and hassle free from Amazon. I holds around 4.5 cups and has been perfect for making small batches of things. The most recent was some hummus I needed and it's more than big enough for making it from a can of chick peas (15.5 oz/439 g can). I'm sure it would have handled two cans of chick peas but I didn't need that much. The beauty is that it keeps the larger unit nice and clean. All you need to do is pull the insert out to get your prepared food and clean the accessory --the big 12 cup bowl just gets put away nice and clean. I think it spins a little faster than the main unit but I didn't measure it or anything so I'm not really sure. All I do know is that it made the hummus nice and smooth and perfectly blended in the small amount I needed... Very happy that I got it and Amazon delivered it to me quickly and in perfect condition.

Ninja appliances are excellent in price, performance, quality, and longevity from robot vacuums to kitchen blenders, food processors, etc. Every appliance I have purchased over the years is still functioning and performing like new. The Ninja Food Processor Professional XL 1200 is no exception. This product is powerful and it's comforting to know that I will have no problems with performance. The blades are sharp, the motor is strong, fast, and easy to use and clean. It's a great value.

Very nice to have an option for smaller amounts of food. HOWEVER - BEWARE - NO Where in the instructions does it state that the "Disk Spindle" has to be used with the "Nesting Bowl Kit". The pictures in the manual do not show it with the accessory.

This is a unique item that other manufacturers should consider making. I have the larger Ninja food processor that this smaller bowl was made for. When you don't need to use the large bowl, this works out great. Materials and blade are high quality -- looking forward to using this for years to come!
